Both points are obviously true. I don't see how which end we play towards in which half affects either point though - the pitch is (one hopes) symmetrical. I was just thinking that CMS/Barnes/Lua Lua might fancy that moment of smashing home the first ever 'proper' goal in front of the North...
Just thinking for the Doncaster game on Saturday - do you think the players will break with tradition and play towards the home fans in the North Stand in the first half, just in the hope that the first ever [competitive] goal can be there, rather than in front of the Doncaster fans?
(It's all...

I think LUA LUA will tear you apart again works/sounds better, being a double name anyway - but a great song idea.
The AGAIN AGAIN song is already sung for Calderon though, so shouldn't 'double up' with it?
Wow. Have just had a look and you're right! I would imagine though that there are plenty who are either deliberately waiting until Saturday's 'experience' to decide, or even if not planning on it, will enjoy it so much they need another fix quite quickly...
I'm guessing there will be some available in each stand - though it may be very limited in the North. Those (or some?) affected by Screengate were moved within the North Stand, so I guess it isn't 100% sold to STHs...
Well I wore a shirt on Saturday, and I'll wear another one this Saturday.
I agree completely that a whole stand of blue & white will look brilliant - but of course that doesn't need to be replica shirts...
Away to Sheff Wed, back in the 2002/3 season. Just decided to launch into "...going down the Shoreham Road..." and everyone joined in. Went for a few more that game - now looking forward to see if I can get a few songs going in the new North Stand...
Sorry to hear it mate - obviously none of the obvious clichés are actually any consolidation, but...
Nine days until a massive party and a game Spurs, at the brand-spanking new American Express Community Stadium.
No, football isn't everything, but it's something to obsess about for the next...
But this just the thing - I don't get the coach or come straight home (I don't live in Brighton, so often travel on different trains anyway). I don't remember the last time I went to a game and didn't have a drink both before and after - and I'd say at 90% of the matches I've been in a 'mixed'...
Completely agree. If all three "home" sides of the Amex were a sea of blue & white stripes it would be brilliant. Maybe we should make it compulsory...
Absolutely - I've struck up a conversation with many a football fan bumped into on holiday, it's great. I've even bumped into Palace fans...
Spot on. Not only do we regularly have a civil beer & a chat with opposition fans before a lot of away games, but wasn't it the "keep different fans apart of there will be a riot!" attitude that (amongst a million other things) made Archer look like a complete prick around Fans United...
That really does make me shudder.
Longer list, if anyone does care:
Boris 4/1
Hague 6/1
Gideon 6/1
Gove 10/1
Hunt 10/1
Rory Stewart 12/1 (Who?)
Fox 12/1
May 18/1
Davis 18/1 - Best value IMHO
Greg Clark 18/1
25/1 BAR
Is this really true? I'm don't think it is, I think they'll bumble on. Both the coalition parties know they'd be at risk (well, the Tories do - the Lib Dems know they're completely dead), so the Tories will hold a quick leadership election and Clegg will keep order while they do so.
