Entirely correct, IMHO. As for home fans leaving it late - I don't know what the planning permission says, but if the system allows it I think it would make sense to allow tickets to be purchased online right up to the last possible moment (and collected at the ground). If someone happens to...
I'd disagree that Labour are (were) in anyway left-wing, but that's a separate debate.
Personally I also disagree about the overseas aid (I think it's essential), but that's not to say I agree with the cuts to the police budget (I don't).
Website now too busy to log on "due to high volume of activity". This is definitely a good sign. I hope my earlier comments were wrong and we can get a good 18,000.
The cuts are left-wing, and they should have been more right-wing and spent more public money? I don't really know where to start with that one.
Anyway, forget DC - the one who should be jetting home from his holiday immediately is Boris. The mayor of the bloody city won't even watch the...
The flags - along with the "highlights" from history on the big screen/over the PA were just incredible. Thought I'd be fine in the tears department, then my Dad told me how proud it made him that I chose to be an Albion fan (I don't remember him telling me that when I graduated...) - that...
Another one in the North Stand here slightly disappointed to find a family directly behind me who don't want to stand during the game.
Of course everyone has the right to watch the game how they want - but I think it's quite reasonable to follow the club's idea of the different groups of fans...
Just a thought, but I wonder if the holes are hurting the acoustics in the stadium? From where I was (in the North Stand) the atmosphere was fantastic (both in the North and from the West) - but people in the South-East have been saying it was silent and they couldn't hear anything. The roof is...
Do they? The one Leeds fan I work with here sums up his thoughts on Bates as as "of course he's not perfect, but I wouldn't swap him right now - he's the right man at the moment".
I wonder what that's based on. You can easily see online (the stadium plan on the ticket site) that there are nowhere near that many sold yet (there are entire blocks with less than 10 tickets sold, and only 2 blocks in the entire stadium that are sold out). I'd be surprised if there is 12,000...
I've bought my usual seat in the North Stand, but looking at the Stadium plan there are still so many available - I might well venture further towards the back just to check it out (my ticket is row I, so not bad but no standing it seems...)
As above, you just can't take pictures of the match, but pictures of the stadium etc should be fine. You should even be ok (I think) taking photos of the players during warm-up etc.
I guess common sense will prevail in terms of lenses etc - if you can fit your camera in your bag as you go...
Can't believe I missed this at the time - but have just properly laughed out loud in the middle of the office at Albumen 's photoshop work. Unbelievable! :lolol:
You can log on and check every transaction though, can't you? So unless you've given it to a complete random, you can chase whoever it is for the money back
I'm a little surprised so many people would take 12th - personally I think we'll finish somewhere 5th-9th, more than likely missing out on the play-offs, but certainly solidly in the top half of the table.
As for relegation I can't look past Peterborough, Watford and Coventry to fill the three...
Makes perfect sense - except the same logic also applies to the away team who'd be getting the same benefit from attacking towards their fans... Who knows? :)
