    NSC meltdown already?!

    :clap2: Well played Sir

Queue forming at the ticket office

Please stop using facts and logic on NSC; it doesn't feel right.

I can't put my finger on it but there is something weird about NSC at the moment

Fair enough. Was only the once, so I guess everything's good.

"Free for all"? It took WEEKS for my membership to be approved. Not that I ever use it, as most of my online posting is from the office...

I can't put my finger on it but there is something weird about NSC at the moment

I reckon the club have hacked the site; they're so fed up with the bitching about the ticket site being slow they're seeing how we like it.

I can't put my finger on it but there is something weird about NSC at the moment

If it helps, I just got a "Service Unavailable: There are no nodes available to service this request" error. (This is from memory; it might not be 100% accurate, but the gist is there...) A quick F5 and it worked second time though.

Queue forming at the ticket office

Is that because you're really not bothered about the Spurs game, or because you're forcing yourself to wait? I really want to go, but feel I probably should wait until the real deal the week after. The first time is never as good as you think if you rush it. Allegedly.

Just a HINT of handball here ?

There's no way to respond to that other than laughing. Just... brilliant. Lucky Australia won the game anyway, really...

    Womens world cup

Yep, great result - and Germany won too, so they're now avoided until a (possible) meeting in the final. Superb lob for that first goal as well!

Who will be public enemy No 1 ?

Big Sam, I would imagine. He'll turn up playing defensive hoofball, then claim we're lucky when our tippy-tappy show of beauty results in Craig "Only At Brighton For The Money" Mackail-Smith tearing them up.

    Tiger Woods

It is a massive shame - I'd love to see one epic neck-and-neck, miles-ahead-of-the-pack battle for a major between Woods & McIlroy before the baton is really passed to the 'next generation'. Whoever won it, it would be remembered for generations. Guess it's never going to happen.

Todays Argus (Tues 5 July 2011)

I've been pessimistic about Lua Lua recently, but reading the above makes me think... if Gus & Tony wanted/were waiting for Newcastle to cave in, that is exactly what they would say. So somewhat paradoxically, I'm suddenly more confident we'll get him, even if only on loan.

    If you ran NSC...

It's more WORK though, isn't it? Can't just have a cheeky refresh to see what's going on - you have to do TWO. I'm not sure I can handle that.

    If you ran NSC...

The Guardian's messageboards allow a recommendation (or a +1), but not a -1. Several benefits really: 1) Stops the infighting that you hint at 2) Stops a brilliant but divisive post from netting down to 0, separating them out from posts that are just generally crap or irrelevant. Might be...

    If you ran NSC...

I see a poll coming up soon, as Bozza hinted at. I would definitely keep it all together though. It's part of NSC really: all the threads, and hence all the users, in one big happy forum.

It is brilliant, and I'd want to keep it - just not for ?x3...

    If you ran NSC...

That's brilliant! (Teeny tiny flaw - it's miles out of date, as in it starts by showing replies one-by-one from about 10/15 minutes earlier - but not a major complaint once it catches up)
