Fair enough - it was a glib reply. Its a good point about technical conversations and not being able to contribute - I've been there working on an EU project in Brussels
Just when I think that one of the chasing pack is looking like a class outfit, they seem to hit the wall. Now we just need Derby's luck to turn. They are on 6 straight wins, but actually, they are getting the running at the moment - several of these have been fortunate 1-0 away wins at lower...
So criticise in private - its a sign of weak management to blast them in public in my opinion. It's basically saying, it's not my fault, its the players.
It baffles me when managers resort to publicly criticising their players - how is that ever going to have a positive effect? Steve Bruce is now at it after their defeat last night. in summary, the players are crap but he's the solution, being so wonderful n all....

Hmm that's interesting. I've had a totally trouble-free service for about 2 years until about 2 months ago. In the last 2 months though its been up and down a bit.
He hardly justified the circa 10M Middlesborough paid for him last season. His arrival seemed to spark discord in the camp and he only got a few, albeit important goals. I would argue they'd have finished above us with a higher margin had they not bought him.
