All of us liberal leftie apologists for anti-racism are just sitting here waiting to defend Till Death Us Do Part from the folk who think that "it couldn't possibly be shown these days", when we all know that what TV really needs is more of this sort of thing.
There was a low-key documentary about a vicar in the Falkland Islands, followed by Michael Portillo on trains in Greece. BBC2. Not great TV, but nothing to cringe at. And then the News got interesting.
The point of a logo is to assist in "brand recognition". The current Football League logo achieves this by including the words "THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE". The new logo merely states "EFL". This achieves only uncertainty as to what the logo is trying to say.

In days when watches had to be wound every day, you needed easy access to the winding mechanism. That worked best for right handed people wearing their watch on their left wrist.
What I don't understand is why this hasn't changed with battery operated watches that don't need daily attention...
I won the watch that I wear in a competition on the Brightonfans forum. It's a Klaus Kobec limited edition (number 25) that celebrates England's participation in the 2002 World Cup. My reason for hanging on to it is simple. It keeps incredibly good time.

The accessible minibus shuttle servive runs from the car park next to Sussex University's Sports Centre and takes people to the stadium car park, close to the lift that provides access to the external concourse. The service is available, free of charge, to anyone who presents themselves at the...
Bearing in mind that there will be six of the Lewes Bonfire Societies marching on Thursday, it will be the case that six tableaux will feature on the night.
Suggesting that "Lewes" will burn one target simply reveals an ignorance of what goes on.
I'm wondering whether I've seen the only...
