Yes they are.
Not everyone gets the rivalry as much as some others do. Its not a crime. Some of us find it hard to understand how a London club ( closer to 13 other league clubs ) are our deadly rivals.
I doubt it.
Last night was probably first game of the season for some...." Oh, I can't get tickets ".... " Haven't got enough points "...." always working " etc..... Palace always brings a certain type out of the woodwork.
You are clearly out to denigrate anyone who doesn't pursue the Palace rivalry to the nth degree. Some of us just don't get all consumed by it and wrapped up in hate and bile.
...and at Huddersfield and Swansea and Newcastle.......wonder how many of those pouring scorn on non attendees ' bothered ' to attend those games or did something prevent them going? Guess they won't make Stoke or Everton either....funny that.
Sadly, neither did I.
The tour management are to blame for allowing the inexperienced and naive Root to come out with his " still massively in this series " comment after the Second Test defeat and another tour novice to be allowed to declare that we were a match for the Aussies in the batting...
Sympathy there.
It happened to me and I cannot describe how terrible you feel. It feels like your body is shutting down. You can barely move and have absolutely no energy. Not to be recommended.
Writing off all 12 games against the top six is effectively condemning us to relegation.
It leaves us having to win every other game to stay up and that is not going to happen. Most of the others ( outside the Big Six ) have nicked points here and there and some have even won games ( Huddrsfld v...
Thats because we made no changes. Bmuff made 3 before CH did anything and certain players of ours were running on empty tanks for the last 20 mins. Kayal could easily have come on and injected more aggression and energy in midfield. Hanging on to what we have, with tired bodies, on their last...
Those round of games used to be double headers ( same team home and away ) and used to produce crazy results. Quite often, a team would lose at home and then win away.
Imagine bringing back the old Easter format. Three games in 4 days...Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday.
If you take the starting point for the Christmas schedule as the 7.45pm k.o between Arsenal and Liverpool on Friday 22nd December and the finishing point as roughly 10.00pm on Thursday 4th January, when Spurs and WHU finish their game, you have approximately 316 hours for all PL teams to play 4...
Whilst having sympathy for any sportsperson suffering long term injury, Murray has, to some extent, brought this on himself. He was clearly playing through injury at Wimbledon and took a gamble. After three sets played, it was clear to everybody that he was not fit to continue. He should have...
Leicester could see he was one dimensional at PL level...far too predictable. The one thing you cannot afford to do at this level is to over-play and Knocky cannot stop himself over-elaborating. Teams know that he will inevitably try too much and give the ball away.
He will not spectacularly...
Agreed.
Completely writing off 36 points is a helluva statement. It means you have to average 1.5 pts in all remaining 26 games to stay up. i.e winning every other game. I am seriously worried that we will lose all 12 against the bigger boys and it could be the deciding factor in a very tight...
This is a real worry.
He was showing signs earlier in the season that he could cause teams problems but he has been so poor of late, that you now begin to worry that he has been found out. Everything about his game is out of sorts at the moment. Poor control, poor passing, easily brushed off the...
Some it affects, some it doesn't...it depends on character. Mike Gatting had his nose blown to bits and still came back fighting. Many players have been hit around the head and face. Its part of the game. I suffered a broken nose and separately, a cracked rib whilst batting ( when quite young )...
He has spent the last few years giving his wicket away, as he doesn't like the quicks. All you ask from a tailender is that he tries to get in line and make it difficult for the bowlers. Broad doesn't mind dishing it out but he can't take it himself and has no bottle. He backs away and the...
