We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I thought we played on the break when we were 1-0 and showed quite a lot of attacking intent. As I said, we were pushing forward when they caught us at the back and scored.

Yes, we were clearly sitting back when Ulloa missed that chance at the end of the first half. Also, you lose you're argument when you remember that we were pushing for a second (when JFC almost got through) when they broke and scored their goal. So maybe we should have been more defensive.

Agreed. I think this thread shows why we got rid of the thumbs down option. It just seems Vulture is giving a thumbs down to anyone who disagrees with him rather than discussing the points. Children shouldn't be given that sort of right.

Losing 2-1 in a CUP match, on 89 mins bring on a striker - Discuss!

Completely what I was thinking. Glad that I'm not the only one.

If you're going to put negative marks to my reasonable comment rather than replying, then I'm going to do the same to all yours.

No you were gloating as we were losing. You may have been right but it was a weird thread to put up when we'd just won. Alongside that, we've just lost to a former Premier League club (who have a much bigger budget than us) and a current Premier League club (who have a much bigger budget than...

How do things need to be said. We've lost to a Premier League club and you're suggesting our Director of Football should be sacked. It's a completely bizarre thread, especially as if we'd played Kuszczak, we might well have got something from the game (ignoring the fact that their second was...

    Player Ratings

Completely agree with this. Fantastic delivery from the free kick, which is more than anyone else did, and I thought he did okay in the second half. Obviously he, as with everyone else, was poor in the first half but he certainly doesn't deserve significantly less than most players. As for the...

What sort of person gloats when their team is losing? Clearly not a fan. Pathetic

    Improving

I look forward to that happening. Might be a nervous wreck by the end of the season though!

    Looking Ahead to Hull

I really hope we put a strong team out on Monday. We've got 5/6 days either side of the game so team shouldn't be too tired. Obviously Stephens is out so I would hope Andrews comes in for him (if fit) but I wouldn't make many other changes. LuaLua could start but he's had such an impact off the...

The Quarter Final FA Cup Draw...

I could be wrong but I think I remember us being in the quarter final draw when we played Liverpool away two years ago. I seem to remember watching the quarter final draw in the concourse at Anfield before the game. Agree with the OP. I think there's more chance of Hull playing a strong team if...

Oscar Garcia on the Shortlist for Swansea

The Argus and Albion websites both clearly state they are for the 2012/13 season so I'm not sure where you get that idea. Also, did I blame Poyet for spending it? I just said it shows how much was spent last season on trying to get us promoted.

Oscar Garcia on the Shortlist for Swansea

You haven't seen any improvement? Maybe that is because our player of the year from the last two seasons was out for months. Or because our main striker has been injured for much of the season (along with two other strikers who've missed the whole season so far). We've even managed to lose our...

Oscar Garcia on the Shortlist for Swansea

Yeah, Oscar's terrible. He's got us in a terrible position in the league and we're obviously out of the cup and that's with a fully fit squad (absolutely no injuries all season) and we've had loads of money to sign players in the transfer window. What a terrible manager he is! Can't believe...

Even Poyet thinks we sold Bridcutt too cheap

Sorry, you're seriously comparing an attacking midfielder who is interesting Manchester United with a defensive midfielder being chased by Sunderland. Your argument lost all it's merit in that post.

Even Poyet thinks we sold Bridcutt too cheap

We're going to have to disagree on this one. He's a defensive midfielder (they go for less money on average) who wanted to leave the club and move to Sunderland. Out of interest, what would you have done? Made him stay and forced him to play for us when unhappy? In terms of getting him cheap, I...

Even Poyet thinks we sold Bridcutt too cheap

Sorry, read my post on the other transfer window thread, I'm not deluded. We've weakened our squad this transfer window but it's not due to the sale of Bridcutt. If you seriously think we're better off with a player who's not been mentally able to play the last couple of games, then I stand by...

    To all the whingers .......

Actually, I'm not a whinger. Look at my posts and I have stood by the club through everything and until today was saying we would deal well in the transfer window. However, today has changed my view slightly. I'll still be there at Watford and the vast majority of games but I lost a bit of faith...

Even Poyet thinks we sold Bridcutt too cheap

Another stupid post. We clearly let him go because he wanted to go. If you want to blame anyone, blame Bridcutt for the way he's behaved in January. What did you want? To keep a player who wouldn't play for us for the last three games? If the price was £3 million, he got a fair price given the...
