I went to see Saracens play Wasps the other week.
The supporters mixed with each other, there was a great atmosphere and we were allowed to drink in our seats whilst watching the match
After the match everyone walked back to the car park chatting to each other - no nastiness
Totally different...
Used to do the Independent general knowledge crossword on Saturdays - I'm not good at cryptic ones but got reasonable at the Standard cryptic crosssword whilst commuting (as it stopped people reading my paper over my shoulder). My problem though was that I always tried to see an anagram in the...
I'm at the Southern end of the west stand and I was convinced the ball went out off a Wolves player. Perhaps the ref was tired and didn't want to run all the way back
In Yorke's case it's probably because he's got an ego bigger than Europe and thinks that he can just walk into a job. Then, when he doesn't get the job, he can play the race card. All good publicity - has he got a book coming out or something ?
On a flight to the States the pilot announced that "There's a plane just below us - I know it is there. It is supposed to be there. You will see this plane a few times between here and New York - sometimes we will be in front and sometimes it will but we will be landing before it." It did appear...
I bought a BT call guardian phone so the scammers can't get through. Now I get them on my mobile and, depending on what mood I'm in, I either tell them to "eff off" and then block the number or ask them exactly what accident I'm supposed to have had then tell them to "eff off" and then block them...
There are managers who I loathe who I hope and pray are on the list - funnily enough a couple of them have managed our chums in Norwood !
This is not just confined to England though - most of the rest of the world exists on the backhander
Ah the fatuous DSE assessments - all so that someone can keep their job. I remember them well (with hatred) as we used to have to take an hour or two out of our working day to do this (and to do it properly as we were supervised in this !)
Slightly off topic I had a fan on my desk at work which...
Were it not for Seagull Travel I couldn't do evening matches - or not easily anyway (and let's face it relying on the vagaries of SASTA is particularly stupid if you don't have to). Saturday matches are certainly an improvement too after doing the park and ride for a few years
I can thoroughly recommend acupuncture. Had it for sciatica a few years ago and it does work
I had it done on the NHS and I'm miles away but it really is worth thinking about.
Good luck - I hope your daughter gets sorted OK.
My chiropractor reckons the best thing (for me at least) is walking -...
We certainly looked better last night than on Saturday. The defence looked a lot better as it looks like Duffy has adapted himself to our style of play and there wasn't that gaping hole in the right side of our defence. Stockdale (of whom I'm NOT the number 1 fan) looked a bit better. Midfield...
Is it Huddersfield who play a form of the "gegenpress" ? If so we're going to need quick runners to be able to break behind their back line - perfect for Elvis/Baldock to exploit their pace.
