Yet once again Ali J showed his talents on Saturday, a great ball to Trossard who smashed the bar and then a great cross for March's goal. I think and hope he will continue being important all season.
Andone also has every chance of being used this season
I used to like quite a few, but I think it's true that the more you play teams and have controversial moments against them, and the more you interact with some of their arrogant fans (a minority, but all clubs have them), the more you come to dislike them.
To the question, I don't mind Villa...
Well Villa needed to sign people after they almost weren't good enough last season. But having done that I don't know many people who think they are a serious candidate for relegation this year, once they were able to keep Grealish.
I *think* that's a different way of saying the same thing as me
I like Biden. If the Democrats had done this better he would be running for re-election now, possibly losing but the world would have been spared Trump.
You mentioned his 'handsy' - ness twice, so I guess worthy to...
Was it really as long ago as 92 we met in this cup? Wowsers, can still remember Matthew Edwards goal clearl as anything.
And of course David Beckham made his Man Utd debut off the bench that night, although I recall moaning that their stars weren't playing!
Actually the thing Trump supporters dislike the most about Trump is his rudeness. The conservative 'soccer mom types in the suburbs are hugely turned off by this, and those are the people he needs to win again in November.
The base will get fired up, but they always do. This isn't a 'base'...
Biden won the nomination precisely because he was the most surefire bet to beat Trump. That's all that matters for most people now, making sure he would lose. There were better candidates but they would have been riskier.
Manchester Evening News wrote this in their match report :
"Wan-Bissaka, again, approached the final third as though it was a minefield and his unwillingness to attack was countered by Tariq Lamptey on the opposite side, who earned Brighton's penalty after Wan-Bissaka ceded possession...
I don't know a youth football club down here in Cornwall where smoking is allowed anywhere on the site. I suppose there's one somewhere but haven't seen it
I don't deny that we should be trying to sign a striker, and I'm certain they are.
I do disagree that the shit has hit the fan, considering how well both Maupay and Connolly are playing. Connolly is a prime example of my point after all.
Still time bw, throw your toys out of the pram if...
"How is someone destined for the U23's going to help with the current shortfall?" Its simple. Alzate, White, Connolly (striker btw), Mac Allister, Molumby were all signed and loaned out / placed in U23's and are all "helping with the current shortfall". Imagine if we hadn't signed these players...
too *late* to the party? I think our recruitment policy is centred around being extremely early...
I wonder what the current combined market value of Alzate, Bissouma, Connolly, White and Lamptey is, compared to what we spent to get them....
and imagine if our transfer policy was instead to...
This is like a copy and paste of posts when we signed Alzate, White, Connolly..... what are we doing signing youth......uninspiring signings....... focus on the first team.....
Lindelof and Magure both started very deep on the edge of the box. I don't know if its wise to put Dunk and Webster right out there, because then you've got Rashford, Matic, van de Beek, wan-Bissaka, Shaw and Bailly all attacking the 6-yard box. I guess thats why zonal marking is popular...
Yeah, looks zonal by the back-3 with rest marking. Webster-Dunk-White are strung along the edge of the 6-yard box. Webster was near post, along with March and Alzate who have Matic, Rashford and Shaw to deal with. Dunk was on the edge of the 6-yard box near the penalty spot and White was at the...
When I watched it back on Match of the Day you could see how flustered they all were, Dunk looking and pointing all over the place. Every player was in the box and really they had a lot of big guys and we don't have many. You could tell Dunk knew we were out-matched.
At that point in the game...
This is just a silly discussion. I'm sure no-one is saying that incidents in the dying seconds of a game can't be checked for VAR. Of course they can, so VAR only comes into operation when the ball goes out of play. In the dying seconds of a match that is the full time whistle. So any incident...
Why get annoyed about technicalities. Play to the whistle. We deserved that, just switched off at the death. Went toe to toe with United, better team, chance after chance, but it didn't happen. Gutted but not going to blame the ref
