Here, close to Malaga it's 25c expected to reach 30c later today. always warmer Sevilla way with Ecija being the 'frying pan' of Spain. Not much sun here though as we're still suffering the dust/sand filled skies emanating from Africa. But who cares - it's football later!
I too have a cat crapping problem as they seem to like the astroturf. I find a well aimed tennis ball is kinder if I score a direct hit. The more persistent ones (ferals) get trapped and taken on a trip a few kilometres away.
You do wonder about stadium security with all these flares and other pyrotechnics being discharged at matches, more often than not during the actual game. There was a serious and potentially fatal incident in the last match of the season at Stevenage vs Salford. An idiot set a flare off...
Their tactics have certainly been highlighted in today's Telegraph.

1 ltr of sunflower oil in Spain was priced at 99c this time last year. Now it's 3.17e. They say, of course, it's because of the Ukraine situation but I sit in this part of Spain that has acres upon acres of sunflowers growing each year. Think someone or organisation is profitering very well...

I'm not sure when the Australian system came into force but it should be remembered by all on here that the Labour Government 20 years ago were considering David Blunkett's (Home Sec) plan to process all asylum seekers outside of the UK. The plan was eventually dropped after pressure from left...
Missed that game too. Reason? I got married at St. Peter's Church in Preston village that day. No such thing as mobiles to keep up with the score:smile:
I should also add it was the day Radio 1 started.
