Pretty sure this has never been a successful business model in English football to date. Brighton were nearly killed by the separation of their ground from their ****'s of owners, palace were stiffed more subtly in losing their ground but it resulted in administration, Charlton, Coventry? Less...
I'd have gladly donated until I realised that I would be actually giving money directly to the odious son of the convicted rapist Owen Oyston.
Now that's a moral dilemma... :(
I think you might have missed the fact that not only has he funded a "world class stadium" and a "state of the art academy" but he's also funded your quite significant losses as well.
How anyone could accuse him of lacking ambition is utterly beyond my comprehension.
This was the only source I found for a breakdown of the crowd that day. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notts_County_F.C.
Whichever way you look at it there were 22,000 empty seats in the stadium.

As is this: "The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew currently maintains the gardens, woodlands and the Mansion at Wakehurst Place, in accordance with a lease from the National Trust."
I don't normally get involved in all this petty shit but if you honestly think that Farage claiming he's a Palace fan trumps beating the current Premier champions 2-1 after you've just been beaten by Rotherham leaves me lost for words.
Apologies to all sensible Brighton fans but really?
You may well be surprised that, when you finally reach the Premier League, that a number of players who you'd just assumed were Championship "quality" actually blossom and grow into Premier "quality".
Take us, we've spunked millions on loads of players yet there is a backbone of about seven...
With family living in both Beckley and Northiam I've drunk in there regularly and its a cracking little boozer, the foods not bad at all, nice open fire in the main bar and a reasonable selection of wines and beers. It's a hell of a walk from Buckley village proper mind and it's pretty much set...
