Now playing with the pressure of the PL most expensive player will bring him plenty of comments from the stands of both teams. Not that I have any sympathy like potter and cucurella they all knew what they were signing up to!
Nobody’s calling them little old Luton but commenting on the lack of quality they have and how easily they were put to the sword by a half arsed Brighton performance. As I put on another thread that game had a very similar feel to the Grimsby cup game and that was easily one of the poorest...
Not sure if any truth in it but rumours online were Liverpools offer was at a level and structured in a way that meant if Chelsea matched they would exceed FFP thresholds.
If pedro finishes that chance in the first it would have been a cricket score and wellbeck could have had a hat trick by half time so not sure what game you were watching. Apart from a gift of a penalty from someone blasting the ball at dunk from close range I never felt they offered any...
Very professional performance and without really clicking saw the game out. As for Luton I thought that was one of the poorest promoted sides I have seen in the PL in terms of quality or perhaps showing the increasing gulf between PL and championship. In many ways the game today reminded me of...
Tricky game but if Luton ‘go at teams and have a tear up’ as their manager suggests that will play into our hands and we have the quality to punish them.
I am going with 3-0
Don’t think this is a done deal yet there is clearly an issue with Chelsea pulling the money together for this and remaining within FFP which is why they have been pissing about all summer and it has taken them over 24 hours and they have still not come up with the money.
I can see a situation...
The club were clear they wanted this done today so we can move on our targets and this is slowing things up with still no improved bid reported from Chelsea. I can imagine Moises and his camp will be getting an ultimatum from the club shortly if not already.
Believe what you want to believe I think Paul is protecting the player. Are you suggesting he is not in London on strike and is actually having a hamstring rub down at the training ground?
Take your pick of one of the many mouthpieces his camp have been using to voice his side of the story. I think the club being the good guys have said he is unavailable so protect him from the inevitable backlash from supporters of him downing tools.
Whys he on his own? Oh yes because he collected his stuff and pissed off up to London refusing to train and play. Or are we now kidding ourselves he was too naive to know what he was doing?
Guys a mercenary
