I would love us to beat City now. Just to.shiw we can do it and stop getting patted on the head by Guardiola.
I fear the relief in the players after rhe final whistle will it's really hard for them to get revved up again.
It's an odd thing alright. I was in a conversation with an arsenal fan recently who seemed genuinely annoyed at ME and to a lesser extent Brighton. Because in his words 'we would have won the league with Caicedo'.
It's such an odd argument to be stuck in as you get trapped in some strange...
The lap of honour went on for ages and had various different songs and chants zig zagging around as various players came out so It doesn't quite do it justice. Loudest were Withdean to Wembley, On our way, and Levi Colwill/Moises/Mac We want you to stay.
Yeahni think so.
There was something going on between Gross and Enciso when he kept losing it. Gross bollocking him and he had a bit of a paddy. Then in a stop in play De Zerbi grabbed him and told him off.
Think he's just young, eager and impulsive and clearly a bit emotional. It's a great...
Really? I had the opposite thought. Enciso really struggled in the first half. Wasn't surprised he cane off and De Zerbi was really annoyed with him. Thought Goodnight looked better and better as the game went on.
I thought that Walker-Peters had a decent game for them too.
I'd heard a lot about the lavia kid too, but I have to say I didn't notice anything special.
That big lolloping striker with the dreads though was absolutely terrible. He was like something from the 90s.
He got massive bollockings from Gross a few times and then when he have Gross the 'piss off' hand wafting gesture he then got a turbo bollocking off De Zerbi. He's still hit and miss at the moment but we have to remember he's being developed slowly and has only just come into the team really...
Ah well. A shìt day at the office. My sympathy lies with the poor buggers left to trek back from Newcastle.
See you all on Sunday and let's see if we can put this behind us.
It would. Starting Gilmour and Gross alone in midfield with Undav and Wellbeck trotting around up front seems insane. Without the benefit of hindsight.
Whoah. Odd line up. Every time I question one we play a blinder though. Fairly certain I'd thrown the towel in before the Wolves game. So fingers crossed and I'm off to the pub!
