Peter Ward without a shadow of doubt, when you look back at the clod-hopping animals that passed as defenders back in the 70's then it's no contest. Wardy ran rings round them and I'm sure he would do the same today, Wardy was something special, that's why he's our chairman's all time favourite...
Sometimes when rock legends perform together it doesn't always work, thankfully this was one of the occasions when it did work, brilliantly.
Must be played LOUD (11 or greater), for full effect.

I've got the DVD of this stunning concert, I'm gonna have to play the whole concert now, but this track stands out, just a shame that so many who played at the Concert For George have now passed on as well.
A few points about the game,
1. I'm very sorry, but I had to listen to the game on the radio, I apologise most profusely.
2. The atmosphere sounded great on Radio Sussex.
3. Did my ears deceive me or had the Leicester fans brought their dreaded tinpot 'clackers' with them? It sounded like they...
IMHO The Move were one of the most important bands to emerge in the 60's, way ahead of their time, The Move were Roy Wood, Carl Wayne, Bev Bevan, Ace Kefford and Trevor Burton.
Roy Wood and Bev Bevan went on to form ELO with Jeff Lynne and then Roy broke away to form Wizzard.
Loving this Promo...
