    [Albion] Barber on extra seats

Whether or not it can be done, the travel limitations are a good enough reason not to increase the capacity imo

    [Albion] Booing Valery WTF

I'm in WSL towards the south end and didn't get a good view and whilst I didn't boo/applaud I guess I could understand others with same limited view doing so. Having seen the replays I hope Potter can sort Andone out, will be a big gamble to start him again anytime soon. He's hardly a prolific...

Big step up for him ... needs to get some experience of dealing with Prem defenders. He'll be OK

[Albion] Time to cash in on Andone and promote Connelly

How long does he dine out on thst goal? He's rash and needs to use his head more. I doubt Potter will play him again until he's convinced he's got the message through

[Drinking] Favourite top 3 UK breweries ?

Long Man, Dark Star and 360 degrees are the standouts for me. Now that Dark Star has been acquired by Fullers (who have also been acquired) I suspect their beer will go downhill but remain hopeful

[Finance] Best way to help kids get on property market

I took the choice to do the house instead of University fees. Both my girls got whacked for the 'new' £9K a year + loans for accomodation etc. The youngest did 4 years for her Masters and now owes over £65K. Interest alone means that is going up by over £2K a year. She's got a good job on £30K...

[Finance] Best way to help kids get on property market

Then I would consider you lucky, not a hope in hell my girls would be able to save unless they came home, but Seaford is well out of reach of their jobs so they are forced to pay (almost) criminally high rent I very much get the point about care costs as I have to pay for my M-I-L ...... but...

[Finance] Best way to help kids get on property market

TBF you were lucky to get a council house. No chance at all for the 'kids' (my girls are 23 and 25) of today who pay a vast proportion of their monthly net income to rent very small, and frankly shit private flats Back in those days when I bought my first house (a 3 bed semi) I had to pay a...

[Finance] Best way to help kids get on property market

That's my approach ... I've said to them when they are ready I will 'lend' them £xxK each but I want them 'settled' (not defined that) and to see them make some contribution too (if they save SFA then they don't get it) I doubt I'll get anything back but if they win the lottery, or sell for a...

[Travel] Cost of living in Spain

Can't help there I'm afraid. I'm in Tenerife and don't work. Given the nature of the islands I'd expect pretty well anything is going to be casual, tourism related. Might be admin type work in car rental, estate agents, hotel back office, that sort of thing, but will require a bit of leg work...

[Travel] Cost of living in Spain

The weakness of the pound and its future prospects are going to be your big issue. For those coming in from other € countries Spain is really good value and prices/services have been very stable since I bought about 6 years ago. I wouldn't even think about buying until the dust has settled on...

    [Albion] Dan Burn Fan Club

I remember seeing him a couple of times when he was at Brum and thinking he was a complete donkey. So, when we signed him my thoughts were 'FFS' and I was delighted he went off to Wigan. I never expected to see him again. It's only pre season and one competitive game but it's quite clear he is...
