i've been to turkey a few times, it's a wonderful place.
bodrum peninsular is beautiful, bodrum town is classy
side is small, beutiful and very near to some wonderful ruins
olu deniz is a fantastic beach resort
maramaris on the other hand is terrible, full of fish and chip shops and all-day...
nope, completely ethical (if you eat meat).
it's a pork (normally) pate made by coocking the meat very slowly at a low temperature so that the meat literally falls apart.

my french wife and her friends always bring back rillettes from trips to france and stick it in the freezer, it freezes well!
i absolutely adore rillettes, it's a confit type pate produced most often from pork, sometimes poultry, and is a speciality of le mans.
sadly i've never seen it in england, god knows why!
jim thompson's house, a water bus trip to the national palace and a meal at the mango tree restaurant (there's also one in london) which is fantastic. street food is very good, and cheap
