Surely as a prepaid mastercard it should be accepted at all places that take mastercard, i.e petrol stations etc. If you can't use it in store then how are you supposed to spend it?
So Chelsea lose to Fulham and we have a new dilemma. Do we want Palace to lose, or spank Chelsea and see the once great Graham struggling for survival ???!!!
Oh happy days..
Given the weather last night I fully understand anyone wearing anything that keeps them dry and warm. Presume those on display had the waterproof outer, and not the full towelling ones!
It gets better. Apparently Andrew Tate's video reply to Greta Thunberg's put down was filmed in the house he was living in and he'd left a pile of pizza boxes on the table. The boxes had the address of the Romanian Pizza shop visible, which police used to track him down and arrest him. Greta...
My wife's great grandmother apparently used to 'charges' her children when they came to eat. To be fair they were extremely poor, and some of this would have been during rationing, when It was much harder to get hold of food let alone worry about the cost of it. But in this day and age, you do...
Are the Sony WF-1000XM4 as good as the magazine reviews? I'm looking for something for my son, but don't want to replicate my airpod pros 2 as he'll nick mine when he cant find his. He's a radio producer, so vocals, good noise cancelling and good ear fit for running are important.
I've not tried any planar magnetic or dynamic drivers, but I do hear good things.
My Stax were an ebay punt and needed £80 of tweaking from a specialist to get the balance on the energiser right, but now they sound amazing. A good mate used to have some serious high end Stax Headphones when...
Apple airpods pro 2 on the move and a pair of vintage Electrostatic Stax SR5 for the HiFi.
Like Bozza I'd tried a couple of sets of cheap ear buds and was so disappointed. A small bonus from work and I treated myself to the Airpods pro 2 and haven't looked back.
This is pretty much the same as me. My monthly bill of £260 (smart meter & dual fuel) came in yesterday, but I'm still £960 in credit with a monthly DD of £192 (after the govt £67 is knocked off). But with this cold snap and a low power generation from my solar panels, big bills for Dec / Jan...
Be very aware of this report. The following appears at the end of the BBC news website:-
' The experiment was only able to produce enough energy to boil about 15-20 kettles and required billions of dollars of investment. And although the experiment got more energy out than the laser put in...
It must be the programmer not linking with the boiler properly. The boiler only fires and runs or not, the programmer (and thermostat(s) tells it when to fire and when to stop.
Best get a plumber or electrician in.
I hate to be the pedant, but whiskey is from USA or Ireland so it can't be any if the Scotch ones mentioned.
I'm not a whisky (or whiskey) man myself but a very good friend was in the trade and taught me the difference!
I have a gas aga which has been on a lowish heat for 3 weeks. Turned heating on yesterday as daughter brought new boyfriend home to stay for the weekend. They're out tonight so heating off again. It's a barmy 18 C here now!
Is your Daughter in Halls of Residence? As a first year she should have the offer of that (if not why not?) and rent including bills will be set. She should use some of her student loan to cover this and your maintenance can top up the rest. Of course if she turned down Halls because she was...
