    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

I live in Estonia 🇪🇪. You see our own national flag everywhere but also lots of Ukraine 🇺🇦 flags on all public buildings, theatres, shopping centres (digitally) etc

People whose first language isn't English. I live with one 😉

    "Nil all"

I would always say nil nil. But other options I've heard are 'goalless draw' and 'zero zero'

[Football] Large majority of UK fans oppose continued use of VAR......

Looks like we are just different in this way. We can't all be the same, what a boring world that would be :)

[Football] Large majority of UK fans oppose continued use of VAR......

Agree with this. In my opinion one of the worst aspects of VAR is that it's taken the spontaneous celebrating of goals impossible 'just in case'.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Exactly. Something stinks about this whole thing. Wagner soldiers being offered contracts in Russian army. Isn't that exactly what they said they would never do. Prigozhin going to Belarus. To do what? He sure isn't going to fade away and disappear. Lukashenko is just Putin's puppet. I wouldn’t...

[Football] O'Neill sacked by Bournemouth - and appoint Andoni Iraola

At the time I was relieved that we did stay up. I remember it looked as if Cardiff were looking likely to catch us but they lost their penultimate game unexpectedly meaning we were safe.

[Football] O'Neill sacked by Bournemouth - and appoint Andoni Iraola

Chris did well to get us promoted and keep us there. I will always appreciate that. However his time was up, his last half season was horrendous. As a season ticket holder at the time it felt like I was doing my duty to keep going and supporting the club. But it wasn't enjoyable at all, more...

[Football] Change to work permit rules

One of our Estonian players is a goalie at Arsenal. Karl Hein. He's only 21 and if Big Bob goes maybe Albion are looking for another goalkeeper 😉

    [Humour] Chelsea improving.

I always thought Bournemouth were usually top before the season starts because of the prefix AFC

    [Albion] Check your passport NOW!

You are correct You are correct. I live in EU but a British citizen. I had to renew mine last year even though it looked like I still had almost a year to run. Same reason, they put more than ten years on the old passport

    [Football] Potter to Palace

I think Graham Potter did a good job for us. Him going to Chelsea and taking a significant amount of coaching staff with him hurt for sure. I would compare it to a divorce. Yes it hurts at the time but the sooner you can move on the better. Being bitter about the ex wife / husband will only hurt...

[Albion] Aston Villa vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Listening to his interview the other day it seems(as was the case with Solly) the boss has had a word with him and instilled some confidence

[Albion] Aston Villa vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Warren on the live albion broadcast having a go about Julio's rolling around. He did it in the game v Southampton as well. Not something I like to see from an Albion player

[Football] Jeff Stelling Leaving Sky Sports

What I like is he is a 'real fan' of Hartlepool. Like Albion were not so long ago. Not just jumping on the bandwagon of one of the rich and famous clubs.
