A goal and an assist for Burton Albion in second game of his loan period from Rangers.

[Sussex] Newick and Chailey Station last days.

There were some earthworks done on the Ouse Valley Line before the plug was pulled. You can see them along Copyhold Lane near the Balcombe viaduct, and at the Uckfield end in fields to the west of the bypass.

    [Brighton] The Recurring moan.

Yes it is to do with the City. "Thank you for your email to Highways England dated 23 January regarding litter on the A27. We are responsible for the maintenance and stewardship of motorways and trunk roads in England. However, the responsibility for litter collection on trunk roads falls...

    [Football] Premier League v Championship?

It will be nice to have a positive goal to aim for … promotion …. rather than a season after season fight against relegation.

    [Brighton] The Recurring moan.

Just driven along part of the A27 and thought exactly the same thing myself. A complaint to Highways England on the way.

    Religion is mass delusion.

    [News] Barnacle car windscreen clamp

When I lived in Toronto in the 70s they would stick large notices to the centre of windscreens of illegally parked cars on private land such as apartment building car parks. Strong glue and very difficult to remove so you certainly didn't park there again. No fine, but extremely effective.

    [TV] The Goes Wrong Show

Expected and hoped it to be much funnier than it was. Watched a couple of episodes and quite amusing but not laugh-out-loud funny.

    [Travel] A259 Travel Chaos

Agree. Bring back the 17 Seafront Service from Rottingdean to Hove Lagoon with cream coloured buses, open top in the summer. you know it makes sense. Seriously, it is frustrating that there is no seafront bus service to permit visitors and residents alike to stroll one-way along the prom and...

[News] So what is Harry's problem?

One word answer. Meghan. Look what happened the last time an American divorcee married into the Royal Family.

    [Albion] Positives from Today

Made me appreciate just how great my seat is in WSU pretty much on the half-way line.

    [Albion] Positives from Today

And as someone who usually sits in WSU I can confirm that, as expected, the view from North lower is horrible. You have little idea what is going on at the far end of the pitch …. actually on reflection that may have been a good thing today.

[Albion] Player Ratings - Sheffield Wednesday (H)

My thoughts on today: Bong has gone downhill fast. He really was awful. Schelotto who I thought was making his way back to first team contention was surprisingly poor. What has happened? Stephens probably had his worst game for us. Particularly worrying as he had been much improved this season...

[News] Military brought in to help fight against Australian wild fires

They could surely do more to help than the volunteers who are putting their lives at risk.

[Football] 3.01 pm kick-off. Time for some more preaching

I certainly haven't "slammed" Tony Bloom and Paul Barber. This is nothing to do with them. All matches are kicking off at 3.01pm. The FA gets the blame.

[News] Military brought in to help fight against Australian wild fires

It appears they were brought in no more than a week ago. The wild fires have been raging for at least a month. Why weren't they brought in weeks ago? What else is it that the Aussie troops would have been doing that was so important? Surely the military is a resource that should be used...

[Football] 3.01 pm kick-off. Time for some more preaching

So am I correct in thinking that the majority of posters on this thread believe that someone who is "a bit down" or is "having a bad day" actually has a mental health issue? No wonder there are so many people suffering with the problem. I seem to remember the time, not long ago (but it seems now...

No, actually I didn't vote Labour.
