I think you’ll find that £37M of your debt is in fact secured against future broadcast revenues.

I find it disproportionately funny myself. These days you’ve got some Brighton fans in despair for the coming season because you lost. Equally you’ve got some Palace fans thinking of Europe for the coming season because they won. It’s just pre-season games, it’s basically irrelevant.

I really didn’t think it needed spelling out but the post I quoted suggested that loaning him out meant that “They clearly didn't rate him”. I used Ben White, who was also loaned out a year ago, as an example that loaning someone out doesn’t automatically equate to a club not rating a player.
