    Planning permission has been granted to build 1,800 houses on Dunsfold aerodrome where they film Top Gear. I wonder where they will relocate to, or whether they will recreate their racetrack. The shape of their track is said to influence the design of fancy cars.

    Yep - At the time I think this inaccurate bit of folklore fitted well with the Withnail theme of 'endings', it well befitted the film's vibe for people to believe that it was his tragic swansong. And I suppose blues is all the better for it's mythology.

    I gave mine up - planning to move overseas in the year. Whatever the finishing position I'll always be thankful to have witnessed probably the most amazing transformation in English football. Warm fuzzy feeling for ever, and hopefully even better to come. UTA
