Stop this nonsense of Covid passports, ID and masks

The club are a private company who have added conditions that have to be met for you to attend a game. If you can't or won't meet them then you can't go to a match. Everything else is commentary.

Main Coronavirus / Covid-19 Discussion Thread

I have been accused, possibly with some justification, of being a sourpuss on matters Covid but any variant that wipes out all in front of it isn't going to last long because we would all retreat indoors again.

I think the Health Secretary practically guarenteing 100,000 cases a day had more impact than anyone on NSC on that front.

Can only speak for myself but the Health Secretary suggesting 100,000 cases a day did somewhat shape my views on the subject.

[Football] Tyrone Mings Quick Out Of The Traps......

The fact you are a millionaire sportsperson doesn't stop you having mental health issues. In fact it probably brings a whole set of challenges that most of us can't comprehend, namely if we make a mistake a work we don't have opposition fans on our backs and s world-wide TV audience. Problem...

    GOUT!

I used to get it fairly regularly, although thankfully only in my toe joint, but have been on two allupurol tablets for the last few years and haven't had an attack, although I still get nervous if I ever feel a tingle in my big toe area! I used to find the problem was even when the gout went I...

Main Coronavirus / Covid-19 Discussion Thread

If someone had another condition made worse by Covid that caused them to be hospitalised then it is entirely legitimate to include them in the figures. In the middle of a pandemic did you seriously expect hospitals to hold a case conference for every admission or just follow the guidelines and...

Debbie McGee supports daily testing for double-jabbed to avoid isolation If the former wife and assistant of Paul Daniels is behind the idea then surely further debate is entirely unnecessary an it needs to be implemented post haste?

I think that is probably fair. Not exactly best practice in pandemic management but an event which raises immunity a percentage or two is probably quite useful until the vaccine programme is finished.

    [Albion] Train tickets to Burnley

£130 return from Worthing seems a bit steep. Anyone found anything cheaper or shall I be booking Seagull Travel?

My point is we all need to agree it is still a fairly serious - although much improving - situation and do all we can to reduce the spread. I think people draw some sense of comfort in thinking things like the main cause is it spreading in hospitals. E77ing?

Excess deaths were up round the world but that doesn't seem to be good enough and every attempt is made to demean the figures them from certain quarters, including: They caught it in hospital They died with Covid and not because of Covid They would have died anyway They were old so it didn't...

I am actually quite a fun person in the flesh. Sounds like to get in the Amex you will either need to have been double jabbed or be tested that day. There is an argument it would be one of the safer places not to wear a mask but I will be wearing one, certainly in the early part of the season...

If you don't have a vaccine and/or wear a mask then you are making it more likely you will give the disease onto other people. I really don't give a monkeys if you and your friends find me overly negative or judgemental.

I agree on people who refuse to be vaccinated and I really have a problem with them saying how well things are going when they have done nothing to help it along. It is so obvious this constant picking at figures is an attempt to say Covid isn't as bad as people make out at (or at least was as bad). It's obvious. We see you.
