[Football] Now that Palace have become a selling club .....

Haha. There's a thread about The Bromley Boys on one of their forums moaning about why a film about South London had to written by a 'f**king weed scum'!! Sent from my SM-A705FN using Tapatalk

That 100m should cover about a quarter of the cost of their new stand. Sent from my SM-A705FN using Tapatalk

[TV] Film financing / sponsorship - a cheeky request.

I know! Imagine how gutted we were when that came out. I don't mind if people don't like my stuff - plenty don't - but she was just rude. And the problem is that Guardian review hangs around at the top of the Google search forever. The Bromley Boys was always gonna appeal to a certain type...

I think that might be an anagram of what they call it.

Sadly not. Tiny cast for this one. Keeping budget sensible!

It's likely to be a smallish cinema run. However it will be available at all the normal places (Amazon / iTunes etc) from mid July I think.

Pretty good I think. I am 'just the writer' on that one so am not party to all the figures. The Sky Premiere thing was a big win I think and they have recently done a theatrical deal for the US which is pretty exciting... hoping that 'just the writer' gets free flights to the US premiere in LA!!

Haha! Oops. Was supposed to say 'made more'... although I have had my fair share of critical pannings. Part of the job sadly.

Cheers mate. That's lovely to hear.

[Film] The Bromley Boys - Sky Premiere

The reason for the rubbish footballers was two fold. 1. We needed it to be comedic and drive home how crap Bromley were. 2. We only had about 20 extras. Anyone who turned up was given a football kit!! You will notice if you are keen eyed that the shots of the crowd are largely made up of the...

Not at all mate. I was really worried about it before we released but luckily it had not come up too much. Just the occasional finickety little bellend really. x

[Film] The Bromley Boys - Sky Premiere

Correct! I even added a line 'These days my old mum says I've turned in to my Dad - in 1966 I couldn't have imagined anything worse' ... just to make sure!

[Film] The Bromley Boys - Sky Premiere

Yeah they were all great. The real Roy is hilarious. He turned up to the black tie premiere with his plastic bag containing some sandwiches and Bromley programmes to read.
