I've been considering doing that too, I'd lose my method of shouting at Thameslink though!!
I've considered stopping a lot of things, like booze and spending time on here, doubt I will though!!
The stadium size is perfect for the pathetic match day 'service' that Southern put on. If the Amex was ever to be expanded (it can't be) then the rail link needs sorting in parallel or it would be a disaster.
I posted years ago that we had the POTENTIAL to outgrow the Amex, my opinion was...
This is going to be a weird game for Fab I reckon. Everton don't try to play out, so 'pressing' isn't that effective. I'm guessing that Everton will set up as the away team. Vital that we score first.
Given how much they rely on set pieces and 'strength' I'd be tempted to start both Baleba...
He's a big game player, the goal v Marseille at home (and away) was ice cold, finish v Palace was world class. I'm not surprised if the likes of Arsenal are sniffing. I seriously hope he stays. In fact if either Pedro or Mitoma went this window I'd be gutted and the Albion mojo a little deflated.
If I were Palace I'd be worried that someone like Liverpool will 'do a Chelsea' on Wharton near the end of the window. Their fans aren't happy with this window and his name seems to be trending more with them on twitter etc.
One big reason is that we are one of a few clubs who actually can spend this summer. Which means a) not as much competition for the player to consider, b) less bidding 'wars' driving up prices, and c) we don't need to sell to buy as we've already done it over the last 2 windows.
Loads of Palace in and around Crawley, Horley, Redhill.
I reckon Crawley will bring at least 3k. Agree with the above posts that the club need to price this one properly = less than Villareal.
Is the book's full title "how to win the premier league when there are no fans in the stadiums"? Liverpool's last 30 odd years haven't been that great in that respect otherwise!!
3 out of these 7 should be on the pitch at any one time - Mitoma, Adringa, Minteh, Pedro, March, Enciso, Gruda*. I predict that we are getting a LOT of pens this season!!
He's 33, gone to his boyhood club and we've made a profit!!
Taking the emotion out of it he was starting to show signs of decline, the EPL is probably the most unforgiving top division in the world in terms physical fitness. Hopefully he'll have a couple of good years in Germany.
All the best...
It's August 1st, hardly the time to panic.
In fact don't Gross and WBG exactly fit the 'too lightweight' category which some seem to be so concerned about? Weirdy the same people then seem to want Facu to start who is the most 'lightweight' midfielder at the club!!!
I'd be very surprised if we...
