    [Albion] Season Ticket Farce @PaulBarber

I don't buy that in the slightest. Relative to our £130M+ revenue the additional income generated will be miniscule. I doubt in total it gets anywhere near 6 figures. Then you have the negative impact on 'customer' satisfaction (can be plainly seen) and then you need to offset the puny...

[Football] Giving up my season ticket.

Giving up too. Health is the primary reason but more and more I've found myself just not bothering. Will probably pick 5/6 home games a season with matchday tix. Biggest miss will be away games, will have to find creative ways to get to one or two

Who delivers all this training? Where? What cover do medical teams have while the training is being undertaken? Of course (recruitment and) training is a key factor in improving our NHS, but it's not as simplisitc as bunging £'s at it imo

    [Misc] Health

As someone who is also going through difficult times healthwise I can most definately echo your sentiments re our NHS. I have never had to really experience it all before but my goodness what a dedicated, considerate and entirely selfless service they perform ... I have nothing but the deepest...

I'm going for 8th. Small but significant steps

[Albion] Southampton vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

We're going to get a win eventually. If we play as well as we did last 2 games then very confident of a win today (partly based on a somewhat inexplicable extreme dislike of Stains)

    [Albion] Points in November

Am I allowed to revise that to 1?

    [Albion] Points in November

Although 9 points might sound a bit ambitious, looking at each of those games in isolation then I think most would say we are more than capable of winning them. If we put on Liverpool/Arsenal (and not Norwich/Everton) performances then very confident of 9

[Albion] Leicester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

I missed the Tottenham game of 201?? but every time I've seen him he's been cack. The effort last night (when put through) was dreadful in every respect (decision making, execution). He needs to go out on loan pronto imo. I dunno who'll take him but I suspect he might be looking at L1 and not...

    [Albion] January window

Those fellas make the occasional error of judgement and/or poor decision. Connolly needs a loan somewhere to prove he has something. The PL isn't the place to prove himself or (as appears the case) learn

[Albion] Will the ticket exchange open for Man City (Oct 23 2021), and if so, when?

Bit confused, never put ticket on exchange before I can't get to the City game so put ticket on a few days ago, I know it's worked as it says so But when I go to the ticket site, not logged in the 'BUY' box is greyed out and it's only only offering Buy Membership or Buy Lounge Access. I...

Would You Be In Favour Of Mandatory Mask Wearing Again?

Well, no doubting your persuasion! Apart from the Brazilian maniac I know of no other country that haven't strongly advocated mask wearing as one (even small) tool to combat the spread. "Plenty of empirical data to show they don't work" ... who the feck are you trying to kid? Like a few others...

Would You Be In Favour Of Mandatory Mask Wearing Again?

All very sensible (what you're doing) and shouldn't cause anyone anyone any hardship. As for mask wearing here fairly limited to negligble. I'd say 30%-40% in shops. On jam packed train Cambridge-Norwich at weekend I didn't see any

Would You Be In Favour Of Mandatory Mask Wearing Again?

Of course and it's what Bozza has been saying too. Those who argue against it because there's no empirical evidence to say they work are simply selfish and inconsiderate of others (which they will undoubtedly deny but I can't think of any other reason). Quite clearly they work to some degree...

Main Coronavirus / Covid-19 Discussion Thread

I've had the misfortune of having to spend several of the last few days in and out of hospital. Apart from reinforcing my enormous admiration for anyone that works in that environment, it also highlighted that they all go about their work wearing masks {not just over the mouth, chin or ear...
