Voted early here in rural Lewes and as expected it was quiet, it doesn't mean anything tbh, but in larger towns / cities it would be interesting to know!
Accepting that this is very unacceptable behaviour, it does seem a little odd that Right Brain has taken today to ramp up his post-count. I do sincerely hope that this isn't a Tim Hodges nth account
I absolutely hate our NA it's a monarchist dirge. As a republican, and listening to the rousing French anthem, surely it's time for an update? Even Flour of Scotchland is a better anthem now for our modern world??
It was a desperately poor effort and we've had a few. World class players and a county league manager with tactics 20 years past their sell-by date. By the time we scored I was so deflated I wanted it to end, it's really hard to celebrate utter rubbish like that
You've answered your own question: the market. So we bid on KDH, probably a lowball offer, we then get gazumped by the market. It's hardly a shock and yes, it's the "market"
I agree. The difference now is that the chase for profits is in full view. We have (I think) created a corporate persona of being "businesslike" "hard to play" but when it comes to it I suspect we just don't like paying the market rate
I agree with this. My old dad is 86 and far more composed than Joe. I was shocked just how bad his rambling was, he looked sadly like a very old man way past his prime. He needs to step back
