On form, Adingra is our best winger. He's contributing goals and assists and has a knack of making things happen.
Mitoma has had a mixed start I agree, but we just know what he's capable of, so I don't think he should be dropped.
Adingra in for Minteh on the right would be my selection for...
If we had an injury to a first choice CB, Webby would step in and be fine
If we had two out, Veltman would likely slot in
Igor I think will be 5th choice CB
I'm not ruling out Wieffer being asked to do a job back there before Igor
I think we have enough at centre back this season. However...
Steele - 6 - Good off his line, couple of good saves. Truly awful mistake. No reason to be taking risks that late in the game when we're two goals up
Hinshelwood - 7 - Glorious goal line save and some tidy passing. Given problems by his winger though. Centre midfield for Hinsh please...
Steele made a horrific pass for their 3rd goal.
But he'd generally been good. He was very good off his line and cut out some dangerous Wolves attacks and made decent saves
Losses of the ball are inevitable but the keeper and defence when they are asked to take risks to break the opposition...
We just have to remember how many changes we made. This was very much a second string.
Very soon we'll have Ferdi, Wieffer, Pervis, Ferguson all match fit and ready to go if they're not already. Pedro soon as well
In a few weeks, Gruda will come into the mix. Maybe Milner, who would have...
There are some positives.
3 very good goals
No obvious injuries, though Minteh did walk off gingerly
Excellent performance by Baleba again. Very decent by Adingra and Hinsh. Ferdi and Wieffer with good cameos
The manager will now know for sure where the squad needs improvement
We're through...
To me the question for the club is, is playing on average a load of 17 year olds, against a load of maybe less talented, but more physically developed and savvy 21 year olds, better for their development than if we just played against players of a similar age group.
If i'm honest I can see it...
It's such a boyhood dream, coming from nowhere to smash a load of goals to take your nation on an incredible world cup run in front of your home fans. Well it was a dream of mine and totally inspired by Schillaci
Rest in peace Toto.
