    [Travel] Trains tonight

45 minute wait in the queue which was made more frustrating by loads of people pushing in ahead which the stewards did absolutely nothing about. Trains from Brighton to London then cancelled and delayed.

    All things Paul Weller.

Ah yes, thanks for pointing out, I should have seen that, now edited. The sitar works so well. Must have been a special night.

    All things Paul Weller.

There’s a beautiful live version of “Books” recorded at the Festival Hall. It’s on Spotify but here’s a video.

    [Albion] Assault in away end

Absolutely spot on, happens a lot away, as we saw recently at Old Trafford. The stewards are in a difficult position. When you’re paid so little and then have to deal with so many drunk and aggressive people, not much of an incentive. So some of this has to come from us as fans. The “free...

[Albion] 48 Hours in Marseille - A Photo Album

Really strong work, thank you for posting here.

[Football] So, knowing what you know now…

I absolutely loved it. 100% would go again. It wasn't all good. The transport to and from the stadium was very frustrating and I was one of hundreds who missed kick off because of that. But the atmosphere was the best I've ever experienced, just incredible. The locals I met were friendly and...

[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

Christ alive, he’s started ONE game. Give the kid a chance.

    [Albion] Chelsea Caribou tickets

Ah. I stand corrected. Always thought the away team got 15% for cup games. The site looked like virtually the whole end had sold out… being greyed /blacked out.

    [Albion] Chelsea Caribou tickets

411 left as of 5.30 today. They are flying out. Will have 6000 there.

    [Albion] Aston Vanilla tickets

Away tickets are non-refundable and non returnable which in our digital age makes little sense but we know the club are worried about passing away tickets on. It does seem an inflexible system. I bought a ticket for Wolves, and train tickets too, costing around £80 quid or so. I then had to...

    [Albion] Right back!

He appears to be under Di Zerbi.

    [Albion] Right back!

It's more than a little odd there have been so few rumours about signing a new right full-back as it's obviously an area we need to strengthen. At the moment we don't have a first choice there but rather 3 back-ups. I don't get it.

    [Albion] Keeper rotation

Not an issue for me - as long as they’re ok with it. Right now, more of a concern is the way the team is defending.

    [Albion] The trains!

4 hours and now finally back in south London. Immensely frustrating for thousands. Appreciate it was a difficult evening for Southern but the communication was risibly poor.

    [Music] Robbie Robertson RIP

Listen to this, many many times. Absolutely sublime.

    [Albion] Man Utd (a)

    [Albion] Jordan Tribe joins Newcastle

Annoying but money talks and it'll happen again & again. In one way it's a big compliment to our success as we continue to punch well above our weight.

[Music] Glastonbury Festival 2023 - the thread

One or two lesser known tunes fine but if you play Glastonbury, or another festival, you are not just playing to your fans. So if you want to go down well, you have to bang out your best known material, especially if you're headlining. That's what Elton John understood and Alex Turner didn't.
