Of course I want him to do well, but he’s not our concern now, we move on. We’ve got 2 young kids now at left/ right back, and I’m really looking forward to them hopefully establishing themselves in our first team this season.

Why would I care about a Man Utd player ? We brought him through, gave him his chance, which he grabbed with both hands, and then got a very good offer to sell . He is without doubt the best tackler in this country, but having TAA in front of him will limit his opportunities.

Do you honestly think Southgate’s Palace connection is the reason for Dunks omission from the squad ? Southgate grew up in Sussex , so maybe has a soft spot for you :thumbsup:

At nearly 29, Dunk won’t get another call up. Southgate had him in a couple of squads previously, and obviously had a close look at him, and that speaks volumes. The training footage of Rashford taking Dunk to the cleaners, haven’t helped his cause either.

I thought the general consensus was that Zaha would be constantly booked for cheating once VAR was introduced ? But no , he changed his game, and got away with it. That Zaha’s a crafty one. :rolleyes:

As far as I’m aware, he was booked 5 times last season, but none were for simulation. He was booked for simulation at Arsenal, but that was overturned by VAR, and a penalty was correctly award. Hope this clears up your confusion .

I concur. He wants out, and it’s best for all if he moves on, but there’s no bids on the table. I can’t knock Wilf, he has given his all for the club ( last season aside) and he needs to play at a higher level than us to really prove his ability. Zaha wants to win trophy’s, I don’t think Dunk is...

It’s going to a tribunal,so could be £2 million, but a excellent signing and the sort that we need to focus on.

We’ve been burnt, no questions about it, and I’ll be the first to admit that our policy was wrong. Lallana was a excellent player, and if he could be anywhere near that level, he will be good for your team, but he has struggled with injuries for a couple of seasons, so we’ll see.

We’re looking at signing young, sell on value players. The days of signing injury prone, 32 year olds, on big wages, are over .
