This is pretty much where I'm at. I don't understand all of his team/squad selections and I don't think he's great tactically but he has delivered what constitutes success for England. He'll fall short of actual big boy success and then everyone should be free to debate where he went...
Key word is yet isn't it? If Chelsea and man city are found guilty and not punished or not punished as severely then they'd have a point(insert your own joke here).
As I understand it the Everton case is a pretty straight forward one of overspending. City and Chlesea have much bigger and...
England qualifying record for Euro 2016:
P:10 W:10 D:0 L:0 F:31 A:3 GD:28 Pts:30
Remember 2016? That was the year we didn't let up and won the Euros!
Oh, right, yeah. We stunk the actual tournament out and went home after getting beaten by Iceland in the second round. Presumably that...
That might be one of the reasons why the club are worried but I'm not sure how big a factor it is in the thinking of most of the Everton supporters/Liverpudlians speaking out about it. A lot of them seem to think that they're being unfairly punished and they don't deserve to be.
I'm very much in the Everton should shut up and suck it up camp.
They broke the rules, they've been punished.
The punishment will have very little effect on their season. Without it they would probably have finished somewhere around 12th-14th. With it they'll finish 15th-17th. They...
Group D looks particularly tough. A couple of good, possibly great, series are going out in the first round.
There's also quite a lot of the contenders that I've not seen. Is it going to stop me getting involved and spouting ill informed rubbish? Is it f***!
The African midfield is very good but it's up against the best midfield in the club's history and they're going to be feeding arguably the best forward line in the competition. I just can't see past the America A team.
Next year the African midfield could be the strongest with Baleba having...
I HATED him (and Mike Small) when he first signed for us. The swine had taken the mighty Garry Nelson's place in the starting line up and my 10 year old self was as incandescent with rage as a 10 year old smarting at the sleight to his hero can be.
didn't take long until both he and small...
I like him. He shows flashes of the player he could be and that player looks amazing to me. It's also true that those flashes are currently few and far between and when he plays he doesn't have much, if any, impact.
Given time I am convinced he's going to turn into an excellent player.
Not even the strongest midfield in the match.
Tough match up none the less. Spain will be better drilled and have the vicente/Fati combo which is a handfull for anyone. Africa will be looser in formation/tactics but will be beasts and wind up merchants(in the mold of their manager...) all...
If it helps rejuvenate the main highstreets it's a good thing. Queens road, Western road, north street and Churchill square look more and more desolate and derelict every time I come back. The lanes and North laine are fine but those main areas are pretty shabby looking nowadays.
That's how I saw it. He turns his back, arm comes out and he has no idea where the ball is. It hits his arm which is away from his body and deflects away from the path it was on. Penalty.
Runny egg is basically a sauce:eek:
If they've not heard of gravy they shouldn't be allowed at the (kitchen) table. They better have heard of Daddies...
