[News] Is the NHS Fit For Purpose

What exactly do you mean that 'admin' staff are blocking routes to medical staff? You make it sound like medical staff are possibly sitting around not working to full capacity?

Clearly you haven't been paying attention. Labour have announced tax hikes but at targeted sectors. Do keep up.

    [Politics] General Election 2024 - 4th July

I would suggest there's a lot of youngsters in metropolitan areas like London that don't have a licence because public transport there is far more convenient.

[News] Is the NHS Fit For Purpose

Exactly. Not always easy to compare systems but this website seems to give it a good go. Comparing health costs Germany in 2022 spent US$8,011 per head of population in 2022 whereas we spent US$5,493. That's about 45% more than the UK spend. Food for thought.

    [Politics] General Election 2024 - 4th July

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but judging by some of the behaviour of England fans in Germany, if England progress to the quarter finals, would that be a dent in the number of votes Farage and his motley crew will get??

[Albion] Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall **Singed for Chelsea 02/07/2024**

You do realize that if they were both signed for that total figure and both on 4 year deals then it would be a £17.5m hit on the accounts for each year, not one hit of £70m.

[News] Is the NHS Fit For Purpose

One of the biggest issues is the lack of a cohesive social care system. The failure to move patients through the system is exacerbated by the lack of social care.

Another vote for Dairy Milk here. Not a fan of dark chocolate so most of those expensive, pretentious brands can do one.

[News] Is the NHS Fit For Purpose

Apologies, I did post my comment on the other thread in response to Commander's post where he did mention the size of the population but I removed it out of respect to post on here. It's been continually starved of funding and therefore has been falling further and further behind. Covid has...

[News] Is the NHS Fit For Purpose

Why does the increase in population automatically make it the wrong model? That's a bizarre suggestion. What it does highlight is the fact funding has not kept pace with population increase nor with the increased costs involved with more technology and more complex procedures. Unfortunately...

[NSC] NSC has changed for the wurst

What exactly are you complaining about, the thread subjects are no longer inane enough or that several posters just keep posting. If it's the former then I think it's a good thing there are more threads of substance (along with the inane stuff). If it's the latter, then ignore those threads...

[Football] Dunk IN! (Was: Dunk Out?)

I think in a way it was! Southgate when taking the role said he would pick in form players. Yet he then continued to pick Mings (probably because of how he dealt with the racism incident) and also Maguire (when he wasn't playing for Utd) despite Dunk's superb form over the last few years. And...
