The GWR service from Brighton to Bristol does have a reputation for being cancelled at short notice and packed trains. I think they give Southern a good competition for being useless.
It’s a fair write up. Got to agree that adding outside toilets to the Amex would aid the fanzone pre match area. I noticed the Emirates stadium has these. I guess the cost involved just would not warranty it?
I read somewhere that the vote was predicted to be not in favour of independance by a ratio of 60/40 so not sure why the Spanish government where so desperate to stop it? This will not end well.
I was sat in the home stuck up in the back near the corner and pre match was a bit wary of being noticed but I should not have worried. Just about everyone sat around me was clearly a foreign tourist plus a few other BHA fans. Most spent the game filming the Brighton supporters as they were...
Got to agree it does seem like something is being hushed up. Normally the news channels are all over thes stories but very little from BBC or Sky today. two of these events on motorways in recent weeks and neither been fully explained. Strange?? Then add a mystery gas cloud on the Sussex coast...
Supplying food products to the retail industry can far far more hassle than its worth. I think they are sticking to the core market of supplying sporting and event venues. Probably a much bigger margin to be had. Good luck to them. A local company doing well.
I agree. That is a scam. No need for that short a time before you can check in. They also used to hav high credit card charges unless (surprise surprise) you used there own pre pay card.
I also used to watch the Ryanair staff check every single bag to make sure it weighed no more than 10kg...
The Ryanair experience improved for me after they scrapped the unallocated seating and allowed a second small item of hand luggage. Before that it was a bit crazy on busy flights with people pushing and shoving to get seats together and fighting over bag space. Sadly they have stopped flying to...
Could a similar setup be built in the north east corner? That corner still looks a little unfinished. I guess the big restriction would be maintaining the main stadium vehicle access underneath?
Would have liked to see a local company sponser the sleeve but I guess options are limited due to agreeing with Amex and also what sponsors you are allowed (no alcohol, etc). Would like to have Harvey's Brewery in the sleeve.
I wonder if JD sports in Churchill square will now sell the kit?
And no security searches and long queues that you would do if taking the tourist boat from Battery Park. You get a fine view of the Statue of Liberty and Manhatten skyline for free. The money you save can be used for something else.
Try to book the Top of the Rock for just before sunset if you want to get a nice setting sun over Manhattan view (assuming weather is good) . Boat trip round Manhatten is good but can get really busy in tourist season. Cheap option is take the free Statton island Ferry over and back. Nothing...
How bad does a 3G / 4G pitch have to be to get its FIFA licence revoked? If it's dangerous fair enough. Are we talking just a few small dips and rises. I'm sure Worthings pitch is still 10 times better than a grass one would be in the middle of winter.
We nearly signed him back in 2005 when he came over from Cork as a youngster. He went to Reading instead. Shame we didn't when you look at the dross we had up front in the subsequent years at Withdean.
Still have no idea what Stockers was thinking when he signed for them.
Fair enough if you fancied pastures new but he could of had is pick of the Championship clubs or maybe even a few Premier league teams. He could have a busy season in goal for them.
Bankers is moving into what was previously a bank. Many years ago, before it was a bank, it was a fish and chip shop I believe, so maybe that helped with the planning permission?
I wonder how long before a Costa or Nero's comes to the area? I reckon 2-3 years.
No idea where all the materials are going to come from to manufacture these batteries for cars, buses, houses, etc. It's been hard so far just supplying the demand for mobiles, tablets and PC's. And as for shipping batteries around the world these days it's a total nightmare due to all the...
