I haven’t watched one second of Afcon because I am not interested in it. Why don’t you put a link on here for those of us who haven’t heard about it ? Seems a tad unfair to criticize the board for something only you seem to know about.
No, there’s so much live football on tv I no longer see the point of a few minutes of highlights. The gulf in tactical knowledge between the MOTD and Sky pundits is also embarrassing.
They aren’t private. 100% owned by the Government which means you, me and everyone else. I don’t see it surviving. When the NHS catches up with the 21st century and stops sending letters we will hardly receive anything by post.
Gay Meadow is still my favourite ground. So much character. I would add St James Park, Exeter and The Den to your list.
Ps I would also like to be 40 years younger.
I’ve never really had footballing highs and lows. Just always enjoyed the day out. Anybody who in the past has tied their emotions into the Albion would presumably be a nervous wreck unable to leave the house to enjoy the current good times.
It’s also nonsense. If there was a game of football in a library the sound of tutting would echo around the building at a volume that would put any modern football ground to shame.
Home fans quiet/ away fans noisy is true in every stadium in the country. Not being able to hear people from the other end of a football pitch is also true.
Forest and you just need to accept the ref’s decision and get on with it. As Gary Neville said, they could have written privately to PGMOL. Instead they have gone public to add more pressure on referees, which just serves to completely embarrass themselves. This refusal to accept the authority...
Now that did make me laugh. The spirit of football IS cheating, whether that’s fans, players or managers. The only ones even trying to stem the tide are referees and they are the ones who get the abuse.
