I will be in bed for about 10.30pm I reckon. Wife is off to Goa on a holiday for 2 weeks with her family and youngest son for 2 weeks from NYE so will be home alone for a fortnight. Not a miserable git about going on holiday, just too busy the first two weeks of the year and being self employed...

This depends how you take it. As soon as you take an income then MPAA is triggered. But you can take your tax free cash in a way that makes it feel like an income, in smaller monthly amounts until the tax free cash is used. A number of my clients do this, deferring paying tax until they need to.

Thermostat reading got down to 12.5C today, our new home record! And to think only a year ago, I would feel cold at 16C. Last night's radiator heat only took the temperature up to 16. Just had to get used to wearing more clothes and a scarf 😁

Gave in last night, put the heating on for an hour. Lifted the temperature from 15C to 16C. Reckon it will go on again tonight!

In the back garden a fair amount of leaves on the trees and grass still growing as if it were much earlier in the year. My wife has a nice bush in the front that she keeps well trimmed.

Our home is currently 15C so have cracked out the thermal long johns. Determined to get to December without sticking the heating on :lol: Luckily for me, the wife & son don't feel the cold as much as me so I just have to work out how to keep myself warm!
