I think you have the council to thank. In their infinite wisdom, as has been pointed out, it's all gravel and therefore unsuitable for anything but mountain bikes. If it were tarmaced then you'd be right, but no cyclist in their right mind is going to risk an almost certain puncture.
Therein...
Not sure that last sentence is true. Deadly Danson seemed to think it WAS over pay and ASLEF are being clumsy. Like I said yesterday, ASLEF have muddied the waters. This supports that view.
Again, I think Mick Whelen should be subject to a vote of no confidence as he's being out-thought by a...
Yup, it does make sense. Well, what you have written does. ASLEF's decision to muddy the waters by chucking in a pay dispute after saying, 'it's never been about pay', less so! As you say, the timing is terrible as it now looks like it's about the money and at a time when you need the public...
ASLEF don't help themselves when they use wording like 'pay dispute' in their OWN literature. I 100% believe Deadly Danson when he says it's not about pay, but his and his colleagues cause is not helped when their own union puts that out.
One of the problems with Deliveroo is that the rider has only a small window to delivery in, time-wise. This is the main reason you see them cycling like twats and going through red lights. The job is not conducive to safe/sensible riding.
Cue 'all cyclists jump red lights' from the usual hard...
You're quite right about the club handling it badly. However, if 1901ers were to kick off about it, quoting a breach of contract, I've no doubt this is what they'd come back with.
I get that, but surely no one took up a 1901 ticket because at some point down the line we might play Arsenal away. It certainly wouldn't be a reason for m to get a 1901 ticket.
I really don't see why if the people around you have never taken advantage of the benefit before, they should now...
Going back to the 1901 thing, and without wanting to stir up a hornets nest, surely if you go to away games fairly regularly then you'll be fine still (and ahead of the game). If you suddenly now fancy it cos it's Arsenal away, then I think it's only right you're taken through the door marked...
