Played up top on his own tonight against Spurs, had some iffy moments but done enough to suggest that there is a really good player there if he played every week and got some confidence. No doubt the ship has sailed but if West Ham don't want him past the end of the season you never know...
Anyone suggesting we can replace him easily with someone of the same standard or better is missing the point. Yes we probably could but why would we let go of someone who is comfortably Premier League level and waste some budget on someone else!?
This season is for upgrading those that aren't...
For me we need extra pace and creativity. Who do we have who is an outstanding passer of a football? We need a couple who can play in the middle of the park and spot a pass. Mooy can do it from deep, improvement on Norwood and Cairney can do it in more of a no.10 role if we play 4-2-3-1. I'm not...
Only he's played almost 150 games of top flight across Europe including Champions League, Akpom came with reservations about how well he did in a Hull team playing in the Championship. Otherwise yeah, the same.

Scroll down a little to the Portugal section where he is currently playing on loan from Arsenal. As with most rumours there is probably little or no substance but at...
Anyone mentioning Trippier for right back should think again, playing regularly enough at Spurs and performs so well they almost don't miss Walker when he does. If he went somewhere to be first choice it'll be a team pushing for European football.
I think we'll definitely keep one of Bong or Poc, if we choose to bring in another left back then Taylor from Leeds if they don't go up, or Friend from Borough would be good signings for us. If Hull go down Robertson would be great but he won't go to us, more likely a mid table team like Stoke...
Undecided. I will not vote Conservative or UKIP. I WANT to vote labour but they have FAILED. I could vote Liberal Democrats but they are TINPOT. I wouldn't mind voting Green but that will have NO impact.
It's a mess.
Quite a few positions will need upgrading and will no doubt cost a lot of money. It would be a bad decision to let one of 7/8 players go that can play in the Premier League comfortably, to then have to pay out for someone who realistically couldn't be THAT much better than Stockdale. Keep him...
Reading. Smallest threat to us imo, fewest amount of players to poach should we go up and ownership problems at the minute.
If I chose without my Brighton hat on it would have been Fulham, have always liked them for some reason and they play really good football.
Keeper- A new back up for Stockdale?
Left back- Poc or Bong to stay as back up. Charlie Taylor or Robertson as 1st choice.
Right back- New 1st choice, as wonderful as Bruno is I think he might struggle a little. Rosenior still as cover for both full back positions.
Centre back- Goldson to go...
Well that was beautiful to watch. Particularly the penalty that never was.
Any points tomorrow are now a huge bonus and not the end of the world if we lose.
Cba with rating everyone, they were all fantastic! Just want to highlight the difference Kayal makes to the team. Sidwell has been brilliant and am not knocking him in the slightest, but a fit Kayal does what Sidwell can do, as well driving at teams with his pace and added creativity. On form...
McLaren. So you had the majority of possession, what are you not doing when you have the ball? ..............'Keeping it'. Sorry what! No Steve, when you have possession that means you're keeping it. Idiot.
