I'm not sure whether you're drunk or actually this stupid. Either way you're embarrassing yourself with your every response. Of course you won't buy a good local free range chicken for £2.60/kg. it'll be more like £5/kg. I guess you've been on the Aldi website again, based your figures on their...

Well that's exactly what they're intending to do, but I guess you know better.

Well for a start you need to take the VAT off the £17 before working it out. They're actually taking £14.16. It all depends on the quality of the chicken you buy. Looking at the Aldi website and then deciding you can buy one for £3.50 is rediculous. A really big, top quality free range chicken...

"£17 for a cooked chicken ? What a mark up. I'm obviously not earning enough money for this place." Not a great mark up at all really, considering it's a free range chicken. You'll find the GP% won't be very much above 50%.

Just bringing you back to this place. It opens on Monday and should be fantastic. Food looks reasonably priced too. http://www.craftychooks.co.uk/ The beers have been decided but I can't remember what they are, apart from Conqueror Stout. Sorry !

Race Is ON To Tart Up London Road!

Nope. It's the old Prince Arthur. Just up from McDonalds on Western Road.

Finally, we went to The Snowdrop in Lewes for lunch. Rib eye and chips which was one of the best I have ever had. Really good cut, cooked to perfection and the garlic and herb butter was just amazing. Brilliant simplicity. The main problem is what beer to have with it as there's such an amazing...

Keep an eye on the Lion & Lobster. Big things are about to happen. I'm pretty sure the upshot of it all will be much better food. I know how popular it is but I've always been left underwhelmed by the food there.

Bistro Nantais was good, but let down on simple but annoying things. Great looking restaurant and pretty stylish. Asked to choose our drinks we had to remind the waiter he hadn't given us a drinks menu. Gravy on the meat seemed to have been forgotten so we had to ask. No horseradish offered...

"Moyes must go" - get your chops around this

I had to bounce this as @moyes_must-go is better than ever. Incredible how racist some people are from behind their computer. Caught out a fair few Palarse last week, but you have to check out the Plymouth kid from a couple of days ago. Pure twitter comedy gold. Enjoy !

Has anyone tried Bistro Nantais yet? It's Pascal's new venture so ought to be pretty good.

He looks to have a massive chance. The race is set up for him. Should lead up Trap 2 to ensure a clear run on the inside. Downgraded after losing by a short head last week. It's there for the winning ! Good luck.

Updated: Preston Park Tavern Sold and Closed?

Don't mention Devils Rest. I had one of those after a Prince Of Denmark at the beer festival last week. Quite a combo. Blimey.

Updated: Preston Park Tavern Sold and Closed?

I've just parted with my first £5.60 in here for a pint of Punk IPA. Not too sure what to make of it really. Seems OK decor wise but the beer range is right up my street. The girls behind the bar need some product knowledge though. The girl who served me thought the Punk and Pony were same thing...

Good. I think Cruzcampo is pretty much the only one on draught that's confirmed. Hopefully hooking up with Mark from Burning Sky for a chat next week. His stuff is just flying at the moment. All bodes well for somewhere great and individual in Hove.

It was the Tin Drum in Hove. Complete makeover and rotisseries fitted for the chicken menu. Work in progress but looks awesome from what I saw. It'll be like a 'bar & canteen' feel to it. The beer should be great too. Still to be decided but 5 or 6 different lagers. Think Camden Hells...
