So im basically on board with all the giddy happy-go-lucky sentiment here, but I suppose one should also consider all possibilities.
Could it be that the repeated poaching of our recruitment team, Ashworth, other backroom staff has led to a little loss of control here, with some targets being...
I would do the opposite, have refs review every penalty they award themselves to double check, without influence from the VAR people. Then the ref can change his mind by himself without someone else making a 'referees call' judgement
Is there an 'interfering with play' type rule in these kind of decisions? The Hughes foul has nothing to do with Eze's shot and goal. Would the goal have been disallowed if Palaces goalie at the other end of the pitch had pushed someone over?
Overall Wieffer was very good, underhit a few passes early on, and a couple of obvious mistakes, but lots and lots of really good stuff, looking forward, strong tackles, key involvement in both the first two goals, I'm quite excited by him
Minteh had to show something special to justify sending Adingra to the bench. I think he probably did, but no way should we consider moving Adingra on just because there is someone ahead of him right now. They're will be plenty of game time for him and he's an amazing option off the bench
Really interesting and really promising. Early on it felt like we were going to need a while to work RDZs tactics out of our side, felt like Steele, Dunk and van Hecke were playing RDZ style and Wieffer and Milner certainly weren't, so quite disjointed. And then we became deadly on the break...
Exactly. We'll get Ferdi, but fair enough that they try and pull a Brighton to get the biggest fee. It's going to be a Turkish record I think, no way it gets turned down
Liverpool forum too, plenty hope the Gruda ad Rutter signings mean they can get him as Salah replacement.
Funny how most of us seem to have relegated him to the bench already
