Not sure how to best describe BBC coverage, both TV and radio. How about "nauseating" as a starter? Also boring, repetitive, pointless. I bet Philip would not be impressed to know what claptrap is being broadcast.
There is no way I would go into a pub requiring vaccination certificates if there was another alternative. Do we want to live the rest of our lives in such a controlled environment? I've had enough. A year of my life has already been stolen and I'm not putting up with this nonsense for a minute...
I'd go along with that although Veltman, Lallana, Welbeck and Trossard all potential MoMs. And so good to see Bissouma back to his best, admittedly against pretty poor opposition. Overall a great watch. We have so many class players.
I lived there for six months a few years back. Great city, no doubt, but fortunately I avoided the winter which can be brutal. Also there are very few places nearby worth visiting apart from Milwaukee.
Personally I much prefer a new thread if it's new information, otherwise you never know whether it's worth revisiting an old thread. Start a new one every time for me.
I can't be bothered to read through all of the posts on this thread, so apologies if this has already been said
Wouldn't it be fairly normal for a white family that has had a son/daughter marry a "person of colour" to speculate over the skin colour of their child? Similarly if a white person...
Covidiots are:
- people wearing masks when they are on their own in a car
- people wearing masks walking along the promenade without another person in sight
- people riding bicycles wearing masks
- people who cower into a hedgerow when passing you on a country footpath
These people will never...
I can't wait to get back to the USA. Not been since October 2019. Longest period of absence for around 50 years. Thinking of Florida west coast in April, but somehow doubt that will happen. Would like to get over there in June if possible, then September for Yellowstone, originally planned for...
Sanchez 7. Did OK except for one questionable attempt to come for a high ball.
Veltman 7. OK, but not quite up to Monday's level.
Dunk 8. Clever free kick and good defensive work.
White 5. Not his best game. Not strong enough on occasions.
Burn 5. OK going forward, worries me defensively...
Three big issues for me today ... apart from an inability to score from penalties:
1. Too many overhit passes .... again.
2. Too many passes into touch ... again.
3. Too many passes straight to an opposition player.
This is surely basic stuff which can be corrected by good coaching?
Agreed. If we had scored a second and won 2-1 there would have been few if any 4s and 5s. We didn't play THAT badly. We need a striker (there's a surprise!) who can score goals. Could it be Andone for this season when he's fit? We played some amazing football last night. I was as pissed off as...
I'm sure you'll find there are plenty of wimps who are never going to leave their houses again as long as there's a risk of Covid, flu, a nasty cold, tripping over a paving stone ..... who will therefore have to give up their 1901 memberships.
That can only be good news. If the scaredy cats won't ever go to crowded places again then they can continue to live their lonely lives all by themselves. Meanwhile that will allow sensible level-headed Albion fans more access to seats.
