I was fundamentally opposed to the original, and I'm vehemently opposed to the 3 week extension. Where is the campaign to voice the objections of sensible free-thinking people to these draconian regulations? Or is the entire population meekly following along like a flock of scared sheep? If this...
Of course it is. So then the councils have to send their people out to collect what's been fly-tipped. Surely far simpler to keep the amenity tips open and manage the number of people in the same way they do at supermarkets. What's so difficult? And then the low-paid staff working at the tips...
The bluebells are possibly the most prolific I have ever seen this year. Stunning displays out there in the woods. Yesterday the bluebells in Cripps Wood just east of Southwater were a sight to behold.
I had no idea what your stupid symbol meant so had to look it up. Why not use words like an adult instead of childish scribblings?
Anyway, if by "fishing" you mean that I was looking for a response, I would think it fair to say that 95% of the posts on NSC are written by people hoping for some...
I hadn't come back on the thread because I actually have better things to do with my life than sit logged in to NSC all day. I've been to a family BBQ on the beach, played football in the park with some mates, and went for a long drive in the country.

And good luck to her. She knows the risks and she's prepared to take them. She probably thinks she could be dead after 4 months of self isolating so better to go out as she wants to.
Someone needs to put forward some alternative viewpoints and here's one you should all read:

Well said. Sitting around moping for weeks and months is the worst thing to do. Just get on with your life a say "**** you" to coronavirus. We need more people with your attitude.
Actually a very pleasant guy, and as I pointed out to another poster he is in his 80s so his remarks about oldies nearing the end of very long lives is one he can personally relate to.
