I too became disillusioned with IT contracting as a LTD. I switched from permie to contractor in 2007 and experienced the persistent decline in the value of taking all the risk as IR35 became more of a burden.

One flat rate would be unfair on the low income earners. If the treasury are to obtain a similar yield through a single flat rate, the rate would probably need to be around 30%

Do you know what the previous format was? Eg FAT32, NTFS, etc.
Some are easier to recover from than others.
When were you last able to successfully view your dashcam clips? If ages ago, it could be there is no recent capture to recover.
If the vehicle is an automatic and the injury was to his left leg this would still be okay to drive - assuming he was able to physically actually get in to the drivers seat.

I use one of these to do the same thing: called a WAP = Wireless Access Point

Be mindful that HMRC are entering a period they lovingly call "SA Peak" - the deadline for SA submission [without penalty] is 31-Jan and many leave doing their SA submission until the last 5-6 weeks before deadline.
Most/all HMRC IT systems have a change-freeze during SA Peak so as not to risk...
