    [Technology] Apple TV

I'm waiting for Severance Season 2, at which point I will resubscribe. The finale of Severance Season 1 was possibly the best hour (or however long) of telly I've watched since the first time watching through Season 4 of Breaking Bad.

[Albion] Newcastle Utd - away tickets

I genuinely think the Final Away Of The Season Fancy Dress (FAOTSFD) should be agreed and ENFORCED every year without fail. Like a Stag Do, it should be seen as incredibly poor form to go without observing the theme.

    [Football] Too many games

It is well known that once your earnings go over a certain level you become BIONIC. Lethargy, low moods, thirst, hunger, aches and pains - these become a thing of the past.

    [Football] Too many games

It blows my brain that people still don't get it. At the top, top level there is a HUGE difference between being 90% fit and 100% fit.

    [TV] Race across the World.

They were hamstrung by COVID that year apparently and had to keep to one country, which did make it a little dull after 3-4 episodes, scenery apart. Far too much reliance on hitchhiking and long boring bus journeys also.

    [TV] Disney+

I'm sure it must've been mentioned in here but The Bear. Me and Mrs Mellotron flew through series 1 and just started series 2. Really enjoying it. Feels like maybe the US saw Boiling Point (with the always good Stephen Graham) and thought there's a series here. And they're right. I'm surprised...

Funny you should say - the Japanese Bullet Train is banned in this year's series.

More like a third wasn't it? They seem likely to be the team to drop out early. The two young lads seem like they're going to fall out big time at some point.

    [Albion] Premier League 13-15/4/24

Definitely away. If we have to be worried about Fulham as well, we might as well give up.

    [News] O.J. Simpson dead

As someone with a naive/barely-there comprehension of the situation, did he really get off on the basis that glove didn't fit his hand?

    [Football] The new England shirt

That's the annoying thing that's been overshadowed - it's a blinding set of kits. I usually like one or the other but this is the first time in a long time I've liked both shirts this much.

    [Football] The new England shirt

They can change the Union Jack. I think the underlying point here has always been; YOU (i.e. non-white, non-traditionally (you know what THEY mean by this) English people) can't change the flag. You're lucky we let you live here, is the dark undercurrent of the outrage.

[Albion] Burnley v Brighton & Hove Albion *** SCORE PREDICTOR ***

With the heaviest sigh ever, 1-1. 28 shots. 71% possession.

    [Albion] Premier League 13-15/4/24

    Sadly, probably yes.

    [Albion] Premier League 13-15/4/24

We will (understandably) think it's must win, but the Albion way would be a TURGID 1-1 draw (or 0-1 loss), and then beat Man City.

[Technology] Generative AI (music suno ai)

I'm fully LUDDITE on this one. This the point I turned from young to old. I really don't like so much AI stuff I see, even with the positive possibilities it may open up. Matt Bellamy from Muse (absolutely the sort of person who'd be into AI) put up some clearly AI-generated art on his...

[Albion] Who's the flairest of them all? Quarter Final 3: McCourt vs Gotsmanov

This competition is never going to truly live up to it's potential all the while we still have a sizeable demographic who seem to think the vote is basically "who was the better player".

    Henry Winter Top man

Can I ask what a "huge wedge" is when it comes to sports journalism? Just curious. Ball park figures will do, @Not Andy Naylor ...

[TV] What's good to watch on BBC iPlayer ?

New series of Race Across The World just started - always a decent watch. They're going from the Northmost point of Japan (Hokkaido area) to bottom of Indonesia, taking in (I believe) parts of South Korea, China, Vietnam, Malaysia etc. One pair have already spent over 33% of their budget...
