looks like a standard fare was purchased and when on boarding the train first class was available an upgrade was purchased.seems very sensible to me why pay for first class if it is not available.as someone has said a non story.

totally agree, there are surely enough barriers on the lead up to the station to shepherd fans into queues for Lewes,Seaford and Eastbourne. Then send forward the right number of fans onto the station for the next train coming.
