F#ck it. Lucky, lucky Spurs. Knew it was coming but for a genuinely World class defender it seems a little low. Our best ever player in my opinion, (not greatest, that's Dunk of course ) although that accolade may go to Cucurella among others soon. There goes our best song too. Oh well...
That's the way it should be. I've got friends and family with differing views but I love them all the same. I've opened up my house long before the war in Ukraine and my family and I have given a a permanent home and never ending love to one that needed it and yet some idiots on here like to...
Absolutely right. No thread on NSC should be politicised unless you are left leaning, hate Trump/Johnson, preferably both, or are anti Brexit, then it's fine it seems.
After listening to Tim Vickery, I think it's a bit too early for an eighteen year old with great potential to be looking at a team that finished ninth in the greatest league in the world as a stepping stone. He needs to bust a gut to prove himself worthy of a place in our side.
Our greatest ever player by some distance and I don't need to have seen every player since 1901. He's a local boy, a fantastically gifted player that plays his heart out week in week out. He's grown with the club and has now captained us to our highest position ever in the Premier League. Legend...
Who's that wading through molasses?
He runs like Dean Hammond on Mogadon,
But Pascal's my favourite Kraut,
He will turn you inside out,
And he's still a decent backup player option.
I was a kid when Lawrenson played for us, but I remember we even listened to the Republic of Ireland games on the radio when he played. Ward was a hero to me, but again, I was just a kid. Ability wise I would go for Biss or Cucurella, both unbelievable players that I can't choose between.
I know there is something seriously wrong with you mentally and you crave attention to boost your low self-esteem so I shouldn't bite. I wish you'd do it elsewhere, maybe stick to your Norwegian football, but you're harmless really. :lolol:
So you think that because a Spanish team won the Champions League, that means the Premier League isn't the best? Typical remark from someone with their nose pressed up against the window jealously looking in.
He was f***ing terrible in the first half and his lack of pace drives me mental at times. His overall performances in the last few games have been very good though. Excellent second half today and a fantastic finish. Not necessarily a starter for me next season, but a very valuable squad member.
Lewis Dunk is in my opinion, the most legendary of all Brighton legends. (John Crumplin a close second obviously). Hans Kraay isn't a legend but he made a big mark in the few games he played for us and was probably the funniest most batshit mental player I've seen for any team, so would deserve...
Copying Chelsea was not for me, so it wasn't something I joined in with. I used to wear a vest to the football with a cod fillet under each armpit instead. It never caught on in the North Stand but was copied enthusiastically all across the country at the time and is still very popular at Wycombe.
The only acceptable outcome of this would be a 20 point deduction for Palace next season and a lifetime ban from English football for Viera in my considered opinion. A £50 fine for the Everton fan too of course.
