Thank you for bringing this thread back on track. I agree. I imagine the complication is that he's not available for game-time until after the Argentinian U-23s break up. Any interested club that needs a LB/LW fairly quickly will not actually get Barco until mid-February which is much less...
Maybe Michael Phelps in swimming across multiple forms? 28 Olympic medals (23 gold), 15 World Championship gold medals and the following:
Most world records set for swimming (male)
Most individual swimming Olympic gold medals
Most medals won at the FINA Swimming World Championships
Most Olympic...
I think he does too, but, like Mitoma and Estupinan, wingers get so much more space and freedom with fullbacks that overlap.
What Arsenal gain in defensive stability and freedom for Saka to operate with less defensive responsibility, they also lose in Saka to deal with 2, 3 or sometimes 4 men...
Or Buonanotte. Or Hinshelwood. Or any other you players who don't hit the ground running with immediate success. The online fan cycle is as follows (feel free to add any we miss):
1. Massive hype pre-signing;
2. Bigger hype on debut;
3. Slated as not ready after 1-2 games - he'll never make it...

On the whole pundit thing, I don't get the obsession with having "played the game". I want analysis from a pundit and generally people who've played the game tend to trot out tired old tropes based on when they played anywhere between 30 years ago and today. In most cases, they don't understand...
Absolutely. I'm always amazed at the amount of people who think we should win every match in the PL. It's quite a tough league...
One trend that I literally cannot stand at the moment (and has resulted in about 15 kids being muted) is people saying "hear me out" and then quoting something...
I remember similar excitement when we got Graham (1 goal in 30) Barrett on loan from Arsenal, I think at the same time as Steve Sidwell. Fair to say only one of those two was anygood.
Chelsea was both a) the absolute wrong move for a manager of his style to take, and b) nigh on impossible for a manager with ambition to turn down. Big club, big money, big budget but complete basket case of a club under Boehly. Going to Man United would be different: big club, big money, big...
