Liam Rosenior signs on a 3-year deal

    Great signing

    Anything?

Bloody hell. I'm moving away from Brighton next year so I won't have a season ticket next year, but I do plan on attending a few games. Honestly, if we re-sign Best I will struggle to bring myself to go to even one. I have never disliked an Albion player as much as I do him.

    Cody McDonald?

Surely 18 goals in League one suggests that he's at least a good League one player??? I think he'd be alright as backup if COG leaves, but if he's our main striker... god help us.

    Bridcutt to Derby

Not sure you can compare March to Bridcutt? Although I do agree, midfield is the one place where we're strong. Don't need him anymore, Kayal's better and Ince has the potential to be too.

    Summer 2015 transfer window thread

Yep. We had it in 2012/13. Unbelievable how downhill it's gone since then, becoming so frustrating to be a Brighton supporter.

Reading's Pogrebnyak gets wage rise- now on £55k a week

If he's milking them for all their money maybe they'll have to sell to make some of it back. Could be something in the McCleary rumour?

    [Albion] Alireza Jahanbakhsh joins Feyenoord

McCleary is absolutely miles better than Kebe. £2m sounds very fair to me. Kebe would be a disaster, been awful for about 3 years and is now 31 - whereas McCleary is widely regarded as Reading's best player.

    [Albion] Alireza Jahanbakhsh joins Feyenoord

    Where have you seen this?
  9. OvingdeanSeagull

    [Albion] Alireza Jahanbakhsh joins Feyenoord

Glad we haven't let him hold us to ransom. Hopefully he'll change his mind.

Brighton & Hove Albion sign Sheffield United winger Jamie Murphy on a four-yeat deal

To be fair Bristol isn't bad either. Surely our training ground and stadium must come into account too?
  11. OvingdeanSeagull

Derby and Fulham bid for Dunk [+ Newcastle now interested]

Do you know if there's actually anything in it or just going on the rumour?
  12. OvingdeanSeagull

[Albion] There is ZERO chance of SIGNING anyone today.

Just because they currently play in league one, doesn't mean they're not championship quality. Look at Callum Wilson...

    Alireza Jahanbakhsh 1.4million

Good try, but that's not even him
  14. OvingdeanSeagull

    Summer 2015 transfer window thread

I would say that he most certainly is not. £3m for an average championship striker, what is going on?

[Albion] There is ZERO chance of SIGNING anyone today.

Hope the first one is true, Greer isn't good enough at this level anymore. Would be disappointed if we lost JFC so early.
  16. OvingdeanSeagull

    Cody McDonald?

If COG and Colunga leave I wouldn't mind McDonald as back up. Would be a very decent option as 3rd or 4th choice. I would hope he'd be no more than that though...
  17. OvingdeanSeagull

    Alireza Jahanbakhsh 1.4million

Not until Bozza implied that it was true.
  18. OvingdeanSeagull

    Alireza Jahanbakhsh 1.4million

Unfortunately Hughton doesn't have the passion or any sort of personality, which makes it a lot more difficult.
  19. OvingdeanSeagull

    Alireza Jahanbakhsh 1.4million

This happens every season. We are linked with a player, everyone gets excited, he signs for a club with more ambition. Same with Kostic last year. Honestly, can we trust Hughton, with his charisma, to convince ANY decent player that Brighton is the place to be? I really don't think we can. Time...
