[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur *** Official Match Thread ***

Have to admit, not quite sure why we pursued Kadioglu so hard this summer. Looks very very average.

Walking his dog on Hove seafront this morning. I walked past him.

Getting concerned now Pedro is out for a while and Adingra also doubtful.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion v Tottenham Hotspur *** SCORE PREDICTOR THREAD ***

If we set up like last week then I predict a cricket score. Hopefully we've learn't from that.

[Albion] un-listing season ticket and the mad cost of upgrades

It is, but for some people money isn't an issue. I know of 4 people who have multiple memberships at London clubs costing £30 odd a season, just so they can guarantee themselves a ticket for Brighton matches in London. Granted, you have to sit in their home ends, but most of the people I know...

    [Albion] Matt O Riley [26/08/24 - sings on a 5-year deal]

Just seen the video of him working out on the clubs website and even though I'm sure he is still some way off playing, it's great to see him bearing full weight on his ankle and doing all the strengthening and conditioning work without any ankle supports. Good positive signs. See 2mins 43sec...

[NSC] Tipping, yes or no ?

Pretty much happy to tip, but don't like it when the service charges are automatically added, especially when on some occasions the service is crap (take note Gordon Ramsey's restaurant in London). I've been to many places where it's been included and the service has been dreadful - reward...

[Albion] Carlos Baleba's stunning start to the season

This is why people should lay off Minteh and one or two others. By next season and he's had a year to develop he may well have developed like Baleba has over the last 12 months. I for one didn't think a great deal of him a year ago, but arguably he's now one of our most valuable assets. The same...

[Albion] Early first impressions on the new signings?

Far too early to judge. As I've said before Baleba and Adingra didn't look much last season but have flourished after a year. It will take time for the new lads (many also quite young) to adapt and adjust to the hardest league in the world. We just have to be patient and one suspects that 3 or...

Don't worry - the OP is probably only just going onto solids!

[Albion] How long will YOU give Fab before calling for his head

To even be asking such a question seems ridiculous. Some people on here need to put their 'big boy pants' back on or go and cry to mummy. 2 wins, 3 draws, 1 defeat from the first 6, with 3 played against the traditional big six (2 of which were away) is fine by me. If you're that impatient...

[Albion] Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

But we are only 6 games into the new season with most (if not all of our new signings) having never played in the Prem before. They have to be given time. A year ago I thought Baleba looked pretty useless but a year on he looks a really decent addition. Mitoma and Adingra also took time to...

[Albion] Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Yeah, we are only 6 games in and by and large it's not a bad start to the season and we did score 2 today. Yes, the defense is something FH needs to work on but I'm sure he will be looking at this in the next few weeks. We have O'Reilly, March, Pedro, Gruda, Adingra, Van Hecke plus Gomez to...

[Albion] Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

A bit of perspective needed I think. Chelsea are improving rapidly and we need to learn to stop playing such a high line, especially away from home. Plenty to work on, but we still have players to come back. A beer or two tonight - remember it's only a game!

    [Music] Coldplay concerts next year

Saw them in a pub before Parachutes came out - I remember them for that night, not for these overblown gigs they do now.

    Vinyl Junkies thread

Might be worth having some of it valued if you have a decent size collection. I had my collection valued by an independent valuer last year at close to £100k (I have a lot and many originals signed by the likes of Zep and the Stones). Can be worth more than you think.

[Albion] Brajan Gruda **SINGED 14 Aug 2024**

Anyone know any updates on Gruda? Is he likely to be back soon, or is it likely this could be a long term issue?
