Our weakness last season included letting leads slip and were particularly poor at set plays (offensive and defensive). Duffy, whilst not ideal, does provide better cover from set plays and will defend until the final kick. He doesn’t make my ideal 11 (Veltman, Dunk and Webster are my back 3)...

North stand. Around 10 min wait outside the ground for a non Covid / ID check. Then into the ground easy. Majority had masks on the park and ride bus there, barely any at the ground or on the bus home. Can’t say anyone looked too bothered with the lack of masks.

I enjoyed it. Not my favourite form of cricket, but still provided good entertainment. Was great to see the Sussex players influence the final as they did, and hopefully sees them kick on for the Sharks in their Blast QF this Tuesday.
