I enjoyed the game and the performance of all the starting eleven yesterday. However, and much as I dislike criticising our players, I'm afraid Baldock was very poor when he came on. He barely touched the ball and didn't really contribute much in any way. It was his first game after a long...
I'm in the Pat Saward camp. Fantastic promotion season 1971/2 with little resources but exciting attacking football.
2nd Mullery
3rd Poyet
Also loved Slade, Gritt, Cattlin, Coppell, Adams mk 1, McGhee.

Bruno 8 - good in defence, played unexpected passes in attack
Greer 6 - distribution not as good as usual
El Abd 7 - reliable and strong
Bridge 8 - rusty in first half, very good in the second
Bridcutt 8 - MOM...
To confirm what everyone has said, we played very well today, especially in the second half.
The new full backs looked good, Bridcutt was outstanding, Crofts got forward well in support of our attacks, CMS played well with his usual enthusiasm, and Lua Lua was outstanding when he came on.
I am...
