    Calde sightings

Watched Calde's team Anorthosis twice recently, a 2-0 win and a 0-0 draw both away from home. He is back in the right back position and playing well, getting forward a lot. Booked in both games for tactical fouls. The first to applaud the travelling fans at the end of the game. Today Adrian...

First player for Brighton who was younger than you?

Peter O'Sullivan - 4 days younger than me - and still one of my all-time favourites. Saw his debut under Pat Saward.

    Calde update

Just back from watching Calde's Anorthosis team lose 1-2 to the champions Apoel. Admittedly in the pub rather than at the ground. Our hero played well apart from being beaten in the air a few times. They are playing him at centre back so there were no rampaging runs down the wing. but he is...

    Calde

Tonight our hero scored a 92nd minute headed equaliser for Anorthosis. Sorry I only saw it in the pub but he looked very good, if a bit wasted, at centre back.

Jack Harper - is it not going to happen?

If I remember correctly Ward didn't go straight into our first team. He was here for about a year before his debut. Whether that means we "developed him I don't know."

    Calde

Today Calde played for Anorthosis in a 2-1 win against Aris. So did one Adrian Colunga, who scored the first goal with a penalty. As I'm here at the moment I will try to get to a game soon to see how the old boys are doing.

Who was the fastest ever Brighton player?

It was very exciting though! He would knock the ball miles past the full back knowing he could get there first. But that was it. Used to get the crowd going.

    Guess the Team

Unlikely Stephens will play. Surely will want to get Norwood involved. Ince more likely to play than Holla.

I was born within 1.5 miles of the Goldstone. On a Wednesday in between home wins ....

29 miles from the Goldstone between a 2-0 loss at Bristol City and a 2-2 home draw with Gillingham. First game I saw was a 1-1 draw at home to Bristol Rovers. Things got better.

He has signed for Anorthosis (not Apoel) in Cyprus. This is great news for me as I am currently living in Cyprus!

    Warren Aspinall......Broadcasting Legend

I think he's great too. But why does JC insist on introducing him as "former Albion striker"? As far as I know he only ever played in midfield for us. My favourite memory came in the 7-1 win at Chester when one of Bobby's goals came following a big up-and-under lumped forward by WA. While Bobby...

    Goldson and Dunk

Dunk left footed??? Are you sure about that?

    Calderon last night.

Agree with the above comments. Hull clearly set out to target him but he played well in defence and attack.
